Importance of Color Light Output
Color Light Output is a metric reported in lumens that measures a projector’s ability
to deliver color. Developed by color scientists, Color Light Output provides a simple

FineFrame interpolation processing
Projector lamps work differently than incandescent lamps — they cannot be dimmed
Film is encoded on Blu-ray ® at 24 frames per second. FineFrame deconstructs
over a wide luminance range. Thus, the auto iris acts as a “light gate” to control
and reconstructs these sources for a 1080p frame rate output of up to
lamp light output. A high–speed, high torque, precision motor and gearing allow
120 Hz, virtually eliminating flicker and frame–to–frame judder. The 4:4 pulldown
shutter doors to very quickly control light output changes according to the picture
function also makes corrections for improperly encoded sources, and features a

New cabinet design
The PowerLite Home Cinema 6500 UB has been thoroughly re–engineered with a
new, luxury case design to accommodate several performance enhancements:
The internal air flow management system has been designed and improved
for greater efficiency. Air flow control paths now have more direct routes
through the components to the exit point.
New, cushioned mounts in the main lamp valve fan offer improved noise
reduction and absorption. The speeds of the lamp valve fan, exhaust fan,
and main lamp fan have been reduced by 20 – 50 %, further contributing to
quieter operation.
The new, highly–efficient filtration system has five times the surface area
of the previous–generation 1080 models, providing longer filter life and
greater efficiency.
