Codelocks Cabinet Lock CL1000
For Cupboards, Cabinets and Lockers
The Cabinet Lock has been designed as a cost effective, easy and quick retrofit
for cam locks supplied as standard on a wide range of lockers, cabinets and
cupboards. It can just as easily be fitted to lockers or cabinets, which don’t have
a locking device already fitted, giving the user immediate, simple, keypad access
without the hassle of keys!
Fitting could not be easier, simply remove existing cam lock, drill a 6mm (1/4”) hole
for the upper fixing bolt, position the lock on the door and secure with the fixing
nut and upper bolt. Select and fit the appropriate cam, job done!
The cabinet lock can also be fitted to cupboards or similar enclosures that do not
have a cam fitted by simply drilling the upper fixing hole and 16mm (5/8”)hole for the
spindle, giving immediate access control.

Codelocks CL400 Range
This is a medium duty range with full size lever handles, allowing use as the
primary lock on doors where a knob-operated lock would be unsuitable.
The functions available allow for various ways of managing entry by code, by key
and by Code Free operation of the lever handle on the CL405, CL415 and
CL425 models.
Throwing the deadbolt of the CL420/425 models will lock out the code users
when appropriate. A safety feature ensures that the inside lever handle will retract
the deadbolt so avoiding accidentally locking a person in the room.
The key can be used to retract the latchbolt and so may be issued for cleaning
and security staff use.
Codelock CL400 can also be supplied as front and back plates only, for use with
customer’s own installed mortice locks, making it an ideal economic solution for
high traffic door control in health, educational and other institutional premises.

The new heavy duty CL600 range incorporating the new Quick Code system
allows on door code change in seconds. Typically most mechanical digital locks
require removal from the door or at least to be partly disassembled to change the
code. Not now!
The CL600 Quick Code system brings significant advantages to commercial users
such as hospitals, schools and local authorities. In fact any business that needs to
be in control of coded access on multiple doors, simply and quickly.
Quick Code allows the keyholder to change the code from the front of the door.
The key supplied is also able to open the door without the code if required. Locks

Maintenance No maintenance of the working parts is necessary. Do not oil. To
maintain the finish the lock should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth. A silicone
spray or similar should be used to provide a protective film against grit and grime.
Aftercare It is strongly recommended to undertake a regular maintenance
schedule and wipe the outer surface of all Codelocks products fitted externally
with a silicone based spray to help keep the products clean and encourage the
displacement of water. DO NOT use oil based lubricants as these will attract dirt.
