REMOVE ALL PACKING MATERIALS FROM THIS PRODUCT BEFORE USING IT. THIS

APPLIANCE MUST BE INSTALLED ON A FLAT SURFACE. PLEASE ENSURE THE

ELECTRICITY SUPPLY TO THIS APPLIANCE IS DISCONNECTED BEFORE INSTALLING.

Please read this instruction carefully. It is advisable to keep this instruction manual in a safe place for future reference.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Keep this appliance out of reach from children. Do not let them to operate the appliance without supervision.

2.

Check the current rating on the rating plate and make sure the current supplied is matched with the appliance before using.

3.

This product is for household and indoor use only.

4.

This product is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

5.

If the power cord or plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the service centre or a qualified service technician to avoid hazard.

6.

This product should not be placed near possible heating resources or under direct sunlight to avoid decreasing the efficiency of cooling.

7.

Always turn off and unplug the appliance before moving, cleaning or when it is not in used.

Do not leave the appliance to operate unattended.

WARNING

– To reduce the risk of fire or injury to person or property, please read and follow below instruction carefully:

Do not operate this appliance if it has malfunctioned, damaged or appears damaged in any way. Make enquiry to our service centre and return the complete set to the place of purchase for inspection, repair or replacement.

Do not insert your finger or any object into the wind inlet or outlet.

Do not attempt to carry out repair on the appliance by yourself. Seek for a qualified service technician or send to the authorised service centre for repair.

Place the appliance on flat ground and install it vertically, so as to ensure normal operation of the compressor.

The appliance should be at least 50cm away from surrounding objects. Make sure air inlet and outlet are not blocked.

Do not use the appliance near gasoline or any other flammable liquids.

Do not use spraying agent or flammable substances near the appliance; otherwise its plastic may deform and electrical parts may be damaged.

INSTALLATION

Place it on a flat and even place, and keep it at least 50cm away from its surrounding object.

Fix the square end of the exhaust duct to the air outlet behind the panel.

Insert the exhaust duct assembly into the window sealing plate; adjust opening width of window so that the window can match with the sealing plate properly. The length of the sealing plate is adjustable.

INCORRECT INSTALLATION

It’s important to keep the exhaust duct smooth. Incorrect installation will affect the efficiency of the appliance.

Prevent the exhaust duct from seriously bending.

Ensure air can flow smoothly in the duct.

WARNING:

The exhaust duct is design ed especially for this model. Don’t replace or lengthen it; otherwise, it will result in operating failure.

NOTICE:

Maximum length of the exhaust duct is 1,500mm. It is better to shorten it while using and keep it horizontal after installation.

OPERATION PROCEDURE AND MODULATON

1. ON/OFF

Press the key to turn ON/OFF the appliance.

2. MODE

Press this key to select cool, dry or fan mode.

3. UP/DOWN

Press this key to set temperature or adjust the time in Timer Mode. Press both button simultaneously to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

4. SWING

Press this key to make the vertical louver swing automatically. Press once again to stop the swing.

5. SPEED

Press the key to select High, Medium or Low fan speed.

6. TIMER

Timer ON/OFF Indicator.

7. ECONOMY

Press this button to select energy saving mode (only in cool). The set temperature is 27ºC in cool mode. The fan speed is low. All functions are set automatically and cannot be set.

: In Cooling Mode it displays the set temperature. In Dehumidifying or Fan mode, it displays room temperature.

When it shows E2 : The room temperature sensor is faulty.

When it shows E3 : The evaporator sensor is faulty.

When it shows df : The appliance is defrosting automatically.

: Water Filling Indicator

: Timer indicator to turn on or turn off the appliance.

: Energy Saving Indicator (only in Cooling Mode)

REMOTE CONTROL

Power : To turn ON/OFF the unit.

Timer : To set the ON/OFF timer.

Cooling : To select Cooling Mode.

Dry : To select Dry Mode.

Fan : To select Fan Only Mode.

Medium : To set fan speed to Medium.

Low : To set fan speed to Low.

Economy : To set energy saving mode (only in cool). The set temperature is 27ºC in cool mode. The fan speed is low. All functions are set automatically and cannot be set.

OPERATING METHOD

Cooling mode

When the cooling mode is selected after power ON, the cooling mode indicator lights up.

Press Up/Down key to adjust setting temperature (18ºC to 30ºC).

Press Speed key to choose High, Medium or Low fan speed.

Fan mode

When the fan mode is selected, the wind mode indicator lights up.

Press Speed key to choose High, Medium or Low fan speed.

In this mode the temperature cannot be set.

Note: The air outlet duct is not necessary in this mode.

Dry (Dehumidification) mode

When the dehumidification mode is selected, the dehumidification indicator lights up.

Press Swing button to adjust the direction of vertical louver.

Once entering the dehumidification mode, if room temperature

≥ 15ºC (59ºF), the compressor will turn

ON. If room temperature

≤13ºC (55ºF), the compressor will turn OFF. When temperature increases to room temperature

≥15º, the compressor will operate again (in order to protect the compressor, it will be restarted 3 minutes later).

In dehumidification mode, the fan is defaulted to run at low speed, and wind speed cannot be adjusted.

Temperature cannot be set.

Note: The air outlet duct is not necessary in this mode.

Economy Mode

When the Economy mode is selected, the Economy indicator lights up.

The set temperature is 27ºC in cool mode. The fan speed is low. This is for energy saving purpose.

All functions are automatically set and cannot be changed.

Note: Economy mode is only available when the Cooling Mode is selected.

Timer mode

In standby mode, press the timer key to set ON timer. The time icon will show

“- -” and flash five times.

During this period, press Up or Down button to adjust set time from 0.5h to 24h. It will vary 0.5h each time in first 3h and 1h each time hereafter. The set time will flash 5 times after adjusting. Once the set time end, the unit will turn on automatically.

In operating mode, press the timer key to set OFF timer. Press Up and Down keys to set OFF timer

(0~24H). It is same as the set ON timer.

WATER FILLING METHOD

The condensing water from the appliance is recycled to improve efficiency through cooling condenser.

At the same time it could lower the noise and save energy.

When the condensing water is not enough for pumping, the water filling indicator will illuminate. You may add water to the water tank as shown below.

Note: Filling water into the water tank helps to reduce the heat of the compressor. It is advisable to maintain the water level to protect the compressor from overheating. However, adding water is not necessary to let the appliance to work.

DRAINAGE METHOD

This appliance is equipped with automatic water vaporization system. The condenser is cooled with the circulating of condensing water to improve cooling efficiency and energy saving.

When the water is full, the water full indicator will lights and the compressor will stop working. The buzzer will buzz 10 times every 5 minutes until the water is below the high level or drained by hand.

When the alarm stops and after three minutes restart delay, the unit will continue to work normally.

Before you empty the unit, please switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the power supply.

Uncap the lid and remove the rubber plug on the drainage port to let the water drain out from the unit.

Once drained, put the rubber plug back and screw the lid up and switch it on. Please wait three minutes restart delay before the compressor starts to work normally.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Notice: In order to avoid electric shock, please turn off the appliance and unplug before maintenance or repair.

EXTERNAL CLEANING

Always switch off and unplug before cleaning.

Clean the appliance with a damp cloth with mild cleaner. Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the appliance.

After cleaning, wipe the appliance until it is completely dry.

Prevent water from spattering in the appliance during cleaning.

AIR FILTER SCREEN

Wash the filter screen once every two weeks. If it is blocked by dust, efficiency of the appliance will be reduced.

Pull out the air filter screen at both sides according to the direction shown in the following figures.

Immerse the air filter screen into lukewarm water (about 40ºC) added with neutral detergent. Rinse the air filter and dry it completely under a shady place.

Push the air filter screen back into its original position after cleaning.

SEASONAL CLEANING

If the appliance will not be used for a long time:

Pull out the rubber plug to drain off the remaining water.

Operate the appliance in wind mode for 2 hours until the inside is dry.

Turn off the appliance and unplug from electrical mains.

Wash the filter screen and reassemble it.

Dismantle the exhaust duct and keep it properly.

Cover the appliance with a plastic bag and store it at a dry place.

Remove the batteries from the remote control and keep it with the appliance.

Error of the evaporator sensor.

Anti-frosting protection: Temperature of the coil is too low and the appliance will be turned off. When temperature rises above 8ºC, the protection is released and previous working state will be recovered.

TROUBLESHOOTING

In case of any of the following trouble, please contact service centre for assistance.

The appliance doesn’t operate

Plug not connected Connect the plug to the electrical mains and switch on the power.

The appliance starts frequently

Doors and windows keep open; there are lots of heat sources in the room

The compressor doesn’t work

Air inlet or air outlet is blocked Remove the blocking item

The appliance is placed unevenly

Place it at even and firm ground, avoid shaking

Its delay protection is started Wait for 3 minutes, unit will turn on after the time delay protection.

Notice: When there is any abnormal operating condition to the appliance, turn it off and unplug from electrical mains, contact service centre for maintenance.
