Digitus DS-31220 is an ExpressCard 34mm wide module that adds two external USB 3.0 Super-Speed ports to your system. It is fully compliant with ExpressCard Specification 1.0 and the Universal Serial Bus 3.0 specification revision 1.0. It supports simultaneous operation of multiple USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1 devices and supports USB data transfer rates of 1.5/12/480/5000 Mbps. It has a built-in DC Jack connector for receiving extra power to meet the USB 3.

Hardware Installation
General instructions for installing the card are provided below.
Since the design of system may vary, refer to your system’s reference manual for further information, if needed.
Insert the Card into the ExpressCard slot of your system. Make sure it is inserted all the way in for a solid connection.

Important: If your system doesn’t boot to Windows properly with our card installed, check with your system’s manufacturer for the latest system firmware update.
For Windows® XP/Vista/7 (32/64 bit)
Place the installation CD into a CD-ROM drive and setup should launch automatically. If setup does not launch, use Windows
Explorer to native to the appropriate CD-ROM driver and run the installation program.
Follow the instructions on screen to install the driver. After driver installation is complete, you must restart your computer.
To Verify Driver Installation
1. Right click My Computer, then click Manage. Click Device
Manager.
2. Double click Universal Serial Bus controllers option.
