Inputs
Auxiliary Input
The auxiliary input unit shall interface up to four independent voltage free (dry) contact sources to the
lighting control system, such as mechanical, relay or reed switches. The unit shall be compatible with a
closed switch impedance of up to 1000 ohms. Four LEDs shall be included on the unit to indicate the status
of each input.
The unit shall be programmable through the lighting control system network, using PC based configuration
software. It shall also be programmable without configuration software by use of a “learn mode”.
The unit shall be packaged in a 4M DIN rail mount enclosure and provide 2 × RJ45 sockets for connection
to the lighting control system. Input terminals shall accommodate 2 × 1.5 mm2 or
1 × 2.5 mm2 wire.
Connection to the lighting control system shall be via Cat-5 cable. The unit shall be powered through this
connection and draw no more than 18 mA of current. No mains connection shall be required.
The unit shall be Clipsal C-Bus 4 Channel Auxiliary Input, Catalogue No. L5504AUX.
Infrared Receiver
The infrared receiver shall receive signals transmitted by an infrared remote control and perform lighting
control system functions in response. The unit shall support up to 4 channels, each responding to a preprogrammed infrared control code.
The infrared receiver shall be programmable through the lighting control system network, using PC based
configuration software.
Connection to the lighting control system shall be via Cat-5 cable. Terminals shall accommodate 0.2 to 1.3
mm2 wire. The unit shall be powered through this connection and draw no more than 18 mA of current.

90° PIR Occupancy Sensor
The 90° PIR occupancy sensor shall detect changes in passive infrared energy and use these to trigger
lighting control system events. The unit shall have a timer adjustable up to 18 hours in
1 second increments.
The unit shall be programmable through the lighting control system network, using PC based configuration
software. It shall also be programmable without configuration software by use of a “learn mode”.
The unit shall be capable of being enabled and disabled by other lighting control system devices.
The unit shall use dual PIR element detectors to minimise false triggering, and have an LED which can be
configured to show when movement is detected.
The 90° PIR occupancy sensor shall have a 90° detection pattern and 12 detection zones.
The timer shall be adjustable via a screw pot on the unit's surface.
The unit shall be suitable for wall or ceiling mount at a height of up to 2.4 metres. At maximum height the
detection area shall be 6 × 6 metres with a range of up to 8.5 metres.
Connection to the lighting control system shall be via Cat-5 cable. The unit shall be powered through this
connection and draw no more than 18 mA of current. No mains or additional connection shall be required.

110° Outdoor PIR Occupancy Sensor
The 110° outdoor PIR occupancy sensor shall detect changes in passive infrared energy and use these to
trigger lighting control system events. The unit shall have a timer adjustable up to
18 hours in 1 second increments.
The unit shall be programmable through the lighting control system network, using PC based configuration
software. It shall also be programmable without configuration software by use of a “learn mode”.
The unit shall be capable of being enabled and disabled by other lighting control system devices.
The unit shall use dual PIR element detectors to minimise false triggering, and have an LED which can be
configured to show when movement is detected.
The 110° outdoor PIR occupancy sensor shall have a 110° detection pattern and 24 detection zones,
suitable for short, medium and long range detection.
The unit shall include a light level sensor which can prevent or enable the triggering of events according to
the ambient light level. The light level sensor shall be adjustable via a screw pot on the unit's surface.
The unit shall be suitable for wall or under eve mount at heights up to 2.4 metres. At maximum height the
detection range shall be up to 8.5 metres.
Connection to the lighting control system shall be via Cat-5 cable. The unit shall be powered through this
connection and draw no more than 18 mA of current. No mains or additional connection shall be required.
The unit shall be Clipsal C-Bus Catalogue No. 5750WPL.
360 ° Multi Sensor (PIR, Light Level, IR)
The multi sensor shall be a ceiling mount 360° multiple sensor unit with PIR occupancy, light level and IR
receiver sensors. The PIR sensor shall detect changes in passive infrared energy and use these to trigger
lighting control system events. The light level sensor shall be capable of dimming loads in response to the
ambient light level. It shall be capable of preventing or enabling the triggering of events according to the
ambient light level.
The unit shall have a timer adjustable up to 18 hours in 1 second increments.
The multi sensor shall be programmable through the lighting control system network, using PC based
configuration software. It shall also be programmable without configuration software by use of a “learn
mode”.
The unit shall be capable of being enabled and disabled by other lighting control system devices.
The unit shall use dual PIR element detectors to minimise false triggering, and have an LED which can be
configured to show when movement is detected.
The PIR occupancy sensor shall have a 360° detection pattern and 33 detection zones suitable for short,
medium and long range detection. A mask shall be included to allow the detection area to be customised.
The typical PIR detection range shall be 7.5 metres when mounted at 2.4 metres.
The Light level sensor and timer shall be adjustable via screw pots on the unit's surface. When ceiling
mounted the unit shall protrude no more than 15 mm below the ceiling surface.
Connection to the lighting control system shall be via Cat-5 cable. The unit shall be powered through this
connection and draw no more than 18 mA of current. No mains or additional connection shall be required.

Light Level Sensor
The light level sensor shall switch or dim loads in response to the ambient light level. The unit shall be
capable of maintaining a constant illumination level in the range of 40 to 1600 lux.
The light level sensor shall incorporate filtering and hysteresis to suppress noise and compensate for rapid
fluctuations in light intensity. The unit shall have a 180° field of view. An LED shall be used to display the
state of the dimmer or relay used to control the load.
The unit shall be programmable through the lighting control system network, using PC based configuration
software.
Connection to the lighting control system shall be via Cat-5 cable. Terminals shall accommodate 0.2 to 1.3

Thermostat – Multiple Zone
The multiple zone thermostat shall regulate air temperature by controlling HVAC equipment. The thermostat
shall be capable of servicing a common zone plus four switched zones. It shall be capable of maintaining
different temperatures in each zone when additional thermostats or temperature sensors are used for
temperature measurement.
The multiple zone thermostat shall have a setback mode as well as modes for heating, cooling, heating
and cooling, ventilation and multiple fan speed selection (when used with compatible HVAC hardware). The
thermostat shall have a 3.25 inch backlit LCD. The current temperature and set point shall be displayed in
°C or °F (selectable). The multiple zone thermostat shall incorporate a 7 day user programmable schedule
with 4 daily set point events.
The thermostat shall interface with an HVAC system using RWG control. This shall be accomplished via
built-in relays (selected models) or external relays connected to the lighting control system. Operating
modes and temperature set points shall be selectable remotely from other devices on the lighting control
system network (such as a wall switch or touch screen).
The thermostat shall have an operating temperature range of -10 to 50 °C. The built-in relays on selected
models shall have a load rating of 2 Amps at 24 V AC.
The unit shall be programmable through the lighting control system network, using PC based configuration
software. Connection to the lighting control system shall be via Cat-5 cable. Units shall be powered through
this connection and draw no more than 40 mA of current.

Thermostat – Single Zone
The single zone thermostat shall regulate air temperature by controlling HVAC equipment. The thermostat
shall be capable of using an external temperature sensor for temperature measurement.
The single zone thermostat shall have a setback mode as well as modes for heating, cooling, heating and
cooling, ventilation and multiple fan speed selection (when used with compatible HVAC hardware). The
thermostat shall have a 2.4 inch backlit LCD. The current temperature and set point shall be displayed in °C
or °F (selectable). The single zone thermostat shall incorporate a timer used to switch the HVAC system on
or off after a user selectable period.
