Membrane Glass Types
X-1 is especially suited for low temperature, nonaqueous
solutions and pH measurements under pH 12.
X-2 is best suited for most pH measurements where
minimal or no Na+ is present. It is a low-resistant glass
and is designed for pH ranges of 0 to 12 and
temperatures of 00C to 1350C

Glass Body Combination pH Electrodes
is especially suited for low temperature, nonaqueous solutions and pH measurements under pH 12.
is best suited for most pH measurements where minimal or no Na+ is present. It is a low-resistant glass
with a very fast and stable response and is designed for pH ranges of 0 to 13 and temperatures of 0 °C to
135°C.
is especially formulated for continuous, long-term use at high temperatures, particularly in strong alkaline
solutions above pH 11. It experiences negligible Na+ ion error above 13 pH. The impedance of the glass is
much higher than other glasses, and a slower response will be experienced at room temperature and below.
Response time increases as the temperature is elevated.

Ion Selective Electrodes (ISE)

Eutech offers a large selection of Ion Selective Electrodes (ISE) to suit a wide variety of applications. Each electrode has a typical
response time of 20 to 30 seconds which varies with solution concentration. Gas sensing electrodes also include replacement
membranes. Eutech offers three electrode types: Membrane/Solid State, Gas Sensing, or Glass Bulb.
Choose from single junction or double junction electrodes.
Single junction electrodes are ideal for clean water
applications. Use double junction electrodes for testing dirty
water and solutions with heavy metals or organics. All
electrodes are refillable and include 15 ml of electrolyte, filling
pipette and instructions. Solid state electrodes also include
polishing strips.

Alpha pH 1000 pH/ORP
These 1/4-DIN controllers are full-featured, high
performance products. With pulse frequency and pulse
length proportional control programs for two control
relays and on/off (with adjustable dead bands) control,
these controllers will easily tackle most applications with
precise reliable control. In addition these controllers have
separate alarm function with timed delay, a HOLD
function to tie in a float or flow switch or other control
device to lock out control functions if chemical feed levels
are low, the process is stopped, if another control
function from a second controller is active, or there is a
safety issue. The large LCD displays both measured
parameter and temperature simultaneously.

Alpha DO 1000 Dissolved Oxygen
These controllers offer on/off control in a 1/4-DIN,
panel-mount housing. This controller and transmitter is
able to accept two different probes; low-range, 0 to 10
ppm and general-range 0.5 to 40 ppm. Unit of
measurement is either in ppm, mg/I or % saturation.
Dissolved Oxygen measurements vary with the salinity
and the atmospheric pressure. Hence, DO controller
allows the input of salinity (in the mg/l or ppm modes) and
pressure (mm Hg or KPas) values and automatically
compensates the measured values.This controller has the
versatility of being operated as a limit or proportional
controller. For critical control, simply configure the
controller for proportional control and select the mode of
operation as Pulse Length or Pulse Frequency. The
proportional band as well as the time/frequency can be
configured independently. Each set point can be
programmed to operate as 'Hi' or 'Lo', independently

Storing
The sensor should never be stored dry. It is best to store electrodes
in clean containers filled with pH storage solution, EC-RE005 or pH
7.00 buffer. Do not store an electrode in distilled or deionised water
- this will cause ions to leach out of the glass bulb and render your
electrode useless
Cleaning
l For general cleaning: Soak the pH electrode in 0.1 M HCl or 0.1
M HNO3 for 20 minutes. Rinse well in tap water before use.
l For removing stubborn deposits and bacteria: Soak the pH
electrode in a 1:10 dilution of household laundry bleach for 10
minutes. Rinse thoroughly before use.
l For removal of oil and grease: Rinse the pH electrode in mild
detergent or methyl alcohol. Wash in water before use.
l For removal of protein deposits: Soak the pH electrode in 1%
pepsin in 0.1m HCl (EC-DPC-BT) for 5 minutes. Rinse well in
water before use.
