7. Health and safety informations

SAR certification informatons

This phone meets European Union (EU) requirements concerning exposure to radio waves. Your mobile phone is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is designed and manufactured to not exceed the limits for exposure to radiofrequency (RF) energy, as recommended by the EU Council. These limits are part of comprehensive guidelines and establish permitted levels of RF energy for the general population. The guidelines were developed by independent scientific organisations through the periodic and thorough evaluation of scientific studies. The limits include a substantial safety margin designed to ensure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health. The exposure standard for mobile phones employs a unit of measurement known as

Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). The SAR limit recommended by the EU

Council is 2,000 W/kg.

SAR for myPhone 6680 share: 0,827 W/kg.

About the WEEE Directive

The European Union’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

Directive became law in most EU countries during 2005. This will affect product design and end of life recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. As a major manufacturer, myPhone is impacted by this directive, as are our customers and consumers. The directive applies to the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment within the 25 member states of the

European Union.

As part of the legislation, electrical and electronic equipment, including myPhone products, will feature the crossed out wheeled bin symbol on the product or in the documentation, to show that these products must be disposed of in accordance with the WEEE Directive. myPhone will comply fully with all legislation across all our businesses wherever we operate around the globe, including the WEEE Directive. Specifically, with relevance to these directives, we strive to:

Protect the environment by improving our environmental performance and designing environmentally conscious products

Operate with transparency and the highest standards of ethics and law in directing and managing the company for all stakeholders
