Step 1 Get to know your player

Step 2 Install remote control batteries
Remove the cover from the back of the remote control, insert batteries as indicated, then replace the cover.
Step 3 Connecting your system
Before connecting your system, refer to the pictures below. Each connection must be solid. Disconnect the power cables on all elements of the system until you have finished all of the connections.

Connecting your speakers
Step 4 Connect power
Connect the AC power cord directly to a power outlet. Press the power button.
Step 5 Using the Setup menu
Your player has a Setup menu you can use to adjust settings.
See your User Guide! This comprehensive guide includes everything from basic how-to steps to more advanced features.
To use the Setup menu:
1 Press SETUP. The General Setup Page opens.
2 Press ◄or ►to select the menu page you want,
then press PLAY/ENTER.
3 Press ▲or ▼to select an option, then
press ► to open the sub-menu.
4 Press ▲or ▼ select an option, then press
PLAY/ENTER to confirm your selection.
5 Press ◄ to go to the previous menus.
6 Repeat Step 2 through Step 4 to select
other menu pages.
Video Cable
Controlling disc playback
To control disc playback:
• Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the remote control
(or the EJECT button on your player). The disc tray opens.
• Place a disc, label side up, in the disc tray, then close the tray.
The disc starts playing automatically.
• Press to play/pause , press to stop.
Press to navigate in the on-screen DVD menus.
Using the radio
• Press STANDBY/ON to turn on the player.
• Press AM/FM to switch the player to radio
mode and toggle between the AM and FM bands.
• Press TUNE+ or TUNE– to select a station.
