Samsung Monochrome Laser Printer ML-5010ND can is cost effective, handles considerable print volumes and is easy to use. The 1 Gb LAN support and memory expandable up to 768 MB enable documents with large file sizes to be received and processed quickly from multiple users.

Eco Mode and high-yield toner cartridges keep costs down, and the 4-line liquid crystal display (LCD) control panel and numeric keypad are simple to use.

The Samsung Monochrome Laser Printer ML-5010ND uses a 600 MHz dual-core processor with Samsung’s latest System-On-Chip technology to deliver high production levels.

Control costs through a high monthly duty sheet cycle and anti-jam technology

The ML-5010ND keeps pace with the needs of a full volume workgroup. The high monthly duty sheet cycle of 200,000 sheets helps business control supply costs. Samsung’s antijam technology features a friction roller system which uses backward friction during the paper pickup process. Multiple sheet pickups are prevented to ensure a reliable print process, and greatly minimize misfeeds and paper jams so they stay productive. Anti-jam technology helps avoid having to clear paper misfeeds and jams. This technology also reduces supply costs by minimizing the amount of paper wasted because of misfeeds or jams.

Protect the environment and decrease TCO with Eco Mode

Eco Mode, which is enabled by pressing the Eco Button, helps companies realize an immediate savings from using less paper and toner. The Samsung Result Simulator provides a graphic representation of the savings based on the eco options selected.

The built-in duplex feature and 2-up printing, which print two pages per sheet of paper, are two of the many eco options available to administrators during setup.

Eco Mode lowers toner consumption considerably, which results in a lower TCO. The Samsung ML-5010ND prints up to 7,000 pages with the standard-yield toner cartridge and up to 15,000 pages with the high-yield toner cartridge. Also, the toner and drum cartridges are separate, which lowers the TCO even more, because the drum unit, which supports

6,000 pages, is replaced only when necessary instead of each time toner is replaced.

Increase productivity with easy-to-use features

The Samsung Monochrome Laser Printer ML-5010ND includes the following easy-to-use features:

• Four-line LCD control panel and numeric keypad for simplified operation

• Numeric keypad

• Secure Job Release, which releases documents for printing only after the user enters a personal identification number (PIN) code on the printer’s keypad

• Universal Serial Bus (USB) port on the front of the printer that enables users to quickly print directly from the storage device 1

The ML-5010ND offers the following optional features:

• Barcode printing, which provides barcode fonts that improve the efficiency of automatic data collection processes

• Samsung CounThru™ 2, which provides printer statuses, low toner level warnings, system error notifications, usage levels by user and customer billing summaries

The main tray and multipurpose tray can support multiple media types, from standard paper to envelopes and card stock, saving staff time from having to use different devices based on media type.

With Samsung remote printing, users with multiple mobile devices (smartphones or tablet PCs) can connect directly to the ML-5010ND. Users can download the Samsung

MobilePrint application from the Samsung web store, eliminating the need to install a driver or configure network settings.

Simplify maintenance with the Samsung Replaceable Maintenance Kit

The Samsung Replaceable Maintenance Kit saves staff operating costs by reducing printer downtime from maintenance or unavailable replacement parts. The kit’s periodic maintenance replacement parts, including a fuser, six feed rollers (used as either pickup roller, forward roller or retard roller) and a transfer are easy to install, with clear instructions.
