MS-301C

DESCRIPTION:

Attractive and durable, MS-300 Series pull Stations are non-coded, single action devices which initiate an alarm signal when pulled.

The MS-300 pull stations are constructed of durable extruded aluminum and finished in red. An abrasion resistant label with large, raised letters provides clear legible instructions. The unique side reset design is simple and does not detract from the appearance of the station.

The model MS-302C (two-stage) is similar to the

MS-301C except it contains an additional normally open switch for General Alarm (G.A.). The G.A. switch is accessible only after the handle has been pulled. A

General Alarm key is supplied with each unit.

OPERATION:

Pulling firmly on the station’s handle will open the station and activate the internal switch to trigger the alarm detection circuit. The handle, once pulled, will remain open until the station is reset.

The MS-302C provides a key switch which will be accessible only after the handle is pulled. Operation of the key switch, when connected to a separate general alarm circuit, will initiate the 2nd stage of a two-stage alarm signalling system.

The station is reset with a 1/8” diameter screwdriver.

SPECIFICATIONS:

The single action pull station shall be constructed of extruded aluminum and finished in red enamel paint to allow quick identification. Pulling the handle shall initiate immediate operation of the alarm detection circuit. Those stations installed in a two-stage system shall come equipped with an internal key switch designed to operate the 2nd stage alarm initiating circuit. The manual fire alarm stations shall be installed according to the specific requirements outlined in the applicable codes and standards.
