1 Fire terminal board FTI2001
1.1
Description
The fire terminal board FTI2001 is used in the network terminal. The fire terminal board
is supplied via a UL Fire Protective Signaling Listed, regulated power supply or via the
DC 24 V AUX output of the periphery board of a fire control panel. For uninterrupted
operation, the external power source requires battery back-up.
Remote displays FT2014 or remote terminals FT2015 are supplied via the auxiliary DC
output.

The FTI2001 has the following features:

Two peripheral data bus connections to the PMI & mainboard and to the periphery
options

Two supervised power limited outputs rated at DC 24 V, 1 A each

1. Install the fire terminal board (2) on the back box using the four fixing screws (3).
2. Use the ribbon cable supplied with the operating unit to connect operating unit to
X3.
3. When connecting supplies, make sure no AC is applied. Connect power supply to
X5 Vsys input. If redundancy is needed, also connect power supply to X6 Vsys2
input.
4. Only apply AC after wiring is complete.
