5. Place lid on unit. Lid should fit securely on unit.
6. Plug unit into electrical outlet (120 VAC 60 Hz). This appliance has a polarized plug (One blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one

a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. (The indicator light will
illuminate.)
7. SETTING THE CLOCK
A) Press and hold “SET CLOCK” button.
B) Press “Hour” and “Min” buttons to correct times; note AM/PM settings.
C) Release buttons; time is now displayed.
D) Repeat above steps to change the time.
8) USING THE HIGH/LOW TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT

lower operating temperature. Use “low” for your first use, and adjust temperature control for
subsequent uses.
9). 6 lbs. of wax will take approximately 5 hours to melt on the “HIGH” setting, and longer on
lower settings. (See Treatment Instruction before dipping in wax). Do not place additional wax
into the unit until wax level drops at least 1”.
10) MANUAL OPERATION
Press “ON” button located on the left side of the control panel. Note that a light behind
“ON” button is illuminated to indicate that you are operating in the manual mode. Wax will
melt until shut off or until unit automatically shuts off after approximately 12 hours.
11)SETTING & USING THE AUTOMATIC TIMER
A) Press & Hold “SET AUTO” Button.
B) Press “Hour” & “Min” button to SET THE TIME YOU WANT TO USE THE WAXER.

INSTRUCTIONS before dipping in wax).
B) Unit will automatically shut off 12 hours after initial start.
TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the plastic liners and universal mitts next to the unit for your convenience.
2. Wash hands or feet thoroughly. Check to make sure that you have no cuts or visible patches
of sensitive skin.
(Fig.1)
(Fig.2)
3. Remove any jewelry and roll up long sleeved shirts.
4. If you are sensitive to temperature, test the wax before beginning. Simply dab a bit onto the
inside of your wrist. It should be very warm to the touch, but not uncomfortable. DO NOT DIP
YOUR HAND IF WAX IS TOO HOT.
5. With fingers (or toes) slightly apart, immerse hand slowly in paraffin unit. (Fig.1)
6. Immediately pull your hand out, being sure to maintain the open-finger position. Wait 3 to 5
seconds until the paraffin loses that “wet” look and then dip again. Try to immerse your hand
to the same depth each time, so the lip of the wax “glove” thickens uniformly.
7. Repeat this process until 5 layers have been formed. Additional layers can be added to retain
heat longer.
8. Slip your hand into the plastic liner and then insert it into the terry cloth mitt.
9. Sit down and relax for 10-15 minutes, while the warm paraffin wax continues to release heat
to soothe and soften the hand.
10. Remove the terry cloth mitt and plastic liner once you no longer feel any heat. Wiggle your
fingers slightly to loosen the wax. Then peel off the paraffin starting from the wrist and pulling
it downward like a glove, into the plastic liner.
11.Discard the plastic liner and wax. See replacement section on how to order replacement wax
blocks and liners.
12.Return lid to unit, switch the unit to “Off” and unplug. Allow unit and wax to cool before stowing unit away.
13.For the feet, do the same as the above, but simply place the unit on the floor.
MAINTENANCE
After 25 paraffin treatments or when visible evidence of debris occurs, the unit should be cleaned
and the paraffin wax should be replaced.
1. Unplug unit and remove lid, grate and wax.
2. If wax is still hot, wait until it solidifies. Push on one end of the wax block to lift up.
DO NOT USE SHARP OBJECT. Remove wax and discard.
3. Clean inside of the unit with a light household cleaner and wipe dry.
4. Once unit is thoroughly clean and dry, place lid on unit and stow away. Do not add new paraffin wax until you are ready to use.
