SPECIFICATION
INTEGRATED CAMERA RECORDING (ICR)
Option to record camera footage at the unit as well as any associated
DVR or Video Server. An integrated MicroSD expansion port provides
local recording capability whilst ATA over Ethernet (AoE) protocol provides highly-secure point-topoint transfer of video fi les to a
separate, remote, storage device for backup and long-term archiving.
Enables a tiered storage architecture that ensures no single point of
failure.

NetVu Connected
NetVu Connected technology enables the CamVu Camera to deeply
integrate with other NetVu Connected products from DM including the DV-IP Decoder, DV-IP RT, DV-IP HD, NetVu Console, NetVu
ObserVer, DS2, DV-IP Server and SD Advanced.
MultiMode RECORDING*
MultiMode recording provides the ability to set different record rates,
resolutions and compression algorithms across scheduled, normal and
alarm modes. The CamVu Camera contains four MultiMode Recording Profiles, loaded via the associated DVR. MultiMode feature will be
supported in future software releases.
COMPATIBLE RECORDING DEVICES
CamVu2000 is compatible with the following NetVu Connected
devices; DV-IP RT, DV-IP HD and SD Advanced. Video Streams from
the CamVu can be viewed remotely using FREE NetVu ObserVer
software.
TransCoding
Using TransCoding technology from the associated DVR, users are
able to optimise their remote viewing stream to suit their bandwidth
requirements without compromising record quality. For example users are able to view JPEG images captured from the CamVu remotely
over bandwidth constrained networks using MPEG-4
AnalyticsCapable TECHNOLOGY
CamVu2000 contains AnalyticsCapable technology, allowing the unit
to be upgraded with a suite of video analytics from Dedicated Micros.
This enables edge of network analytics, freeing the DVR’s processing
power. Achieved via a simple software upgrade and licence purchase,
available analytics include; ANPR, Object Left, Object Removed and
People Counting.
TELEMETRY
Telemetry is supported via a 9 way male D-Type Serial port. Protocols
Supported include:

• Dennard, DM
• More protocols available in future software upgrade
LOCAL COMPOSITE VIDEO OUTPUT
Composite video output to allow local focusing of lens. Video output

POE INJECTOR
The camera is supplied with a PoE injector to allow power to be
applied to the connecting Ethernet cable without the need for a PoE
enabled network switch. This allows power to be supplied to the

Offering up to 6 times the resolution of analogue cameras, the DM
CamVu Camera is ideal for situations where high resolution, high
quality images are required. The camera’s high resolution technology is based on Dedicated Micros award winning NetVu Connected
architecture, allowing seamless operation and deep integration with a
wide range of DVR’s and other devices as well as simplified integration
into large-scale systems.
The unique Dedicated Micros soft codec technology allows the
CamVu Camera to transmit simultaneous MPEG-4 and JPEG images
to the associated DVR for image capture. This flexibility allows users
to record high quality images for evidence and watch streamed video
at the same time.
FEATURES
Ideal for applications such as public space monitoring, retail or banking
installations, the CamVu Camera can be housed internally or externally (via an external camera housing) to cover a wide field of view.
