VERY IMPORTANT NOTE FOR EVERYONE USING THE CANON PIXMA PRINTER:
When printing a disc you are instructed to “put a CD in the holder.” DO NOT INSERT THE
HOLDER INTO THE PRINTER AT THIS TIME. Follow the directions on the computer screen and
on the Printer screen. You must click “OK” on the computer screen first, then wait until
instructed to open the inner CD tray and insert the holder with the CD into the printer ONLY
TO THE POINT THAT THE WHITE TRIANGLES LINE UP. Do not get ahead of the printer on this
step. (If you are asked to close the inner drawer, you have moved ahead too quickly and must
remove the tray with the CD and close the inner drawer.) When the CD is in the printer, press
the OK button on the printer.
After the CD is printed you will see a message that there are still “Print Jobs Pending” This
refers to the paper insert that still needs to be printed. Click “OK.” After the CD is printed, close
the inner CD tray so that it “snaps” shut. Keep the inner CD tray closed at all times except
when printing a disc.
The Insert paper goes in the front bottom paper tray with the arrows going in first. The Insert
will print on one side then retract back into the printer to print the back side if needed. Do not
remove the insert until it is done.
The Canon PIXMA MG5320 can be configured in one of three ways:
A. As a Disc printer.
B. As an Insert printer or
C. As both a Disc and Insert printer.
Though you may choose option C to save on money and space, we recommend buying two printers and
using options A and B. This will be less confusing for your staff and easier on the printers.
Canon PIXMA MG5320 printers may be purchased from Integra Interactive or at such stores as
Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot or online. You may go to Nextag.com for a comparison of
sources and prices. Be sure to purchase a standard USB printer cable for each printer. Only
