with oil filter

• All gearboxes use ball or roller bearings and are permanently lubricated

• Heavy all-welded steel frame (3/8” x 2” main frame) or 3/16 plate steel uni-body frame (Model B)

• Body (14GA) and deck (11GA) are welded steel construction

• GHS air exhaust screen removable for easy cleaning

• Industrial grade drive belts can be easily removed and replaced in field

• Mower decks tilt up for easy blade removal

• All belts tensioned by self-adjusting, spring loaded idlers

• Simple mechanical belt tightener PTO clutch and brake (electric clutch/brake on Model B)

• See-through gas tank shows fuel level (except Model S)

• Splined PTO drive shaft connection on tractor speeds deck installation (except Model B & Model S)

• Shear pin in PTO drive shaft provides shock protection for blade drive

• Parking brake uses mechanical pin lock in axle

• Gas springs with dampening action used on grass catcher door (GHS model) and body tilt-up

(except Model B)

• Tapered roller bearings used on deck caster wheel pivots

Tilt-Up for Service

All Walker Mower decks are designed to quickly tilt up and lock in the vertical position using a retractable lift handle. Deck tilt-up makes blade maintenance and cleaning the deck housing a snap. Also with tilt-up, machine storage space is compacted both in the garage and on the trailer.

Quick, easy access to the working parts for service is achieved by the clam-shell or tilt-up body design that quickly expose the engine and drive train.

GHS vs. SD Tractors

Each riding model (except MB) is available in either a Grass

Handling System (GHS) or Side Discharge (SD) configuration.

The GHS tractor uses rear discharge (GHS), mulching or side discharge decks; while the SD tractor uses mulching or side disharge decks only.
