The MF 6990 is a very high performance A4 copier:

• Fast ADF scanning speed (30 ipm in colour & 43 ipm in monochrome)

With a print speed of 30 ppm in colour and 35 ppm in
monochrome, the MF 6990 is the perfect solution for all
users looking for heavy duty and high quality prints.
All your jobs are done very quickly thanks to its optimal
“first print out” time.
The internal memory means you no longer have to wait
for the print job to be processed by your computer which
means no waiting at the printer.
You can select the paper trays by user groups or specific
tasks (printing of invoices, letterheads, …), save time and
improve your document flow. With the external finisher
(standard on the dns model) you can staple and sort
your copies, and increase paper output up to 600 pages
(500+100).
Copy like never before
Access your personal jobs directly via the fingerprint
feature simply by putting your finger on the scanning pad
and saving your documents before and after printing them.
The large 7.4 inch display means ease of access and use of
all the functions.
Benefit from back-up for every copy and print thanks to the
built in memory. The machine also has a ID card (driving
licence) copy and scan function which enables you to copy
both sides of your ID card (driving licence) onto to one
page.

Equipped with an external finisher (standard on the dns
model) the MF 6990 allows you to make multiple prints.
It automatically sorts the printed documents and staples
up to 30 pages
On top of the copy and print functions the
MF6990 is also a print server. With it’s
powerful 160 Gb hard disk your data can
be saved on the multifunction machine and
you can free your memory space on your
network. The data is printable on demand
and can be saved even after being printed.
No need to find the original hard copy
to print a document stored on the MFP..
By-pass and duplex
The MF 6990 prints in duplex.
The multi-format by-pass tray it can print many different
paper sizes (envelope, A5, etc.).

In order to provide you with an intelligent
and efficient device, Sagemcom has included
Companion Suite Pro Software.
Therefore you can turn your device into a smart
value added PC multifunction machine.
The user is able to organise, find and archive
all documents from the PC.
The job is made easier thanks to the universal
document manager. Companion Manager
will help you manage your fax traffic and all
scanned documents.
With OCR your hard copies are
converted into electronic documents.

The Sagemcom MF admin web server will
help you remotely configure (parameters,
directories, access protection) and remotely
visualise the status (consumables, counters,
journals, print queues) of your MF6990 from
any PC of the network.
With the LDAP function (Light Directory
Access Protocol) you can access all the
directories available on your network.
Confidentiality
Because you may sometimes need a higher
level of confidentiality, security or control: the
MF 6990 proposes a wide range of solutions
to protect your data, devices and network.
The
SSL
protocol
will
guarantee
you
a
confidential
flow
of
data
and
faxes
over
the
network.
At any time and in a simple way your
documents can be protected by a password
or through finger-print recognition. You
will be the only person to get access to your
documents, print them or manage them.
Since each department has it’s own
processes, the MF 6990 offers a wide
choice of user rights management. It’s
possible to limit the use of the device, to
set up printing quotas per user or group.
