Introduction

The 2x2 VGA & Audio Matrix Switch allows you to display any of the two sources on any or both of your displays.

Features and Benefits

• Easily switches easily between any two VGA & analog audio sources

• Supports VGA, SVGA, XGA, UXGA and Multi-Sync monitors

• Supports up to 1920 x 1440 resolution and analog stereo audio

• Switches between computers via front panel buttons

• Connectors:

- Input: 2x VGA (male, 15-pin)

- Output: 2x VGA (female, 15-pin)

- Output: 2x 3.5mm audio jack (female)

Hardware Installation

1.

Power off the computers and monitor you plan to connect to this switch.

2.

Connect your computer’s VGA out to the switch’s

PC 1 port using a VGA cable (not included). Connect the second computer to PC 2 port.

Note: For audio support, purchase SIIG’s cables

(CE-VG0G11-S1) to use with this switch.

3.

Connect a VGA monitor to the switch’s USER 1 port using a VGA cable (not included). Connect the second monitor to USER 2 port.

4.

Connect your speakers to the 3.5mm audio jacks

(optional)

5.

Turn on the monitor, then computers.

6.

The 2x2 VGA & Audio Matrix Switch is now ready to use.

Switching between 2 PC’s

The only way to switch between computers is by using the 4 front panel buttons.

Below are the descriptions for the front panel buttons &

LEDs.

- User 1: Monitor 1

- User 2: Monitor 2

- PC 1: Computer 1

- PC 2: Computer 2

Below are some examples on how this switch works:

Display Computer 1 on both monitors:

Press PC 1 button on both USER 1 and USER 2.

Display Computer 2 on both monitors:

Press PC 2 button on both USER 1 and USER 2.

Display Computer 1 on Monitor 1 & Computer 2 on

Monitor 2:

1) Press PC 1 button on the USER 1 side.

2) Press PC 2 button on the USER 2 side.

Display Computer 2 on Monitor 1 & Computer 1 on

Monitor 2:

1) Press PC 2 button on the USER 1 side.

2) Press PC 1 button on the USER 2 side.

If you encounter any problems with this product, please follow the procedures below.

A) If it is within the store's return policy period, please return the product to the store where you purchased it.

B) If your purchase has passed the store's return policy period, please follow these steps to have the product repaired or replaced.

Step 1: Submit your RMA request. Go to www.siig.com, click Support, then RMA to submit a request to SIIG RMA or fax a request to 510-657-

5962. Your RMA request will be processed, if the product is determined to be defective, an RMA number will be issued.

Step 2: After obtaining an RMA number, ship the product.

Properly pack the product for shipping. All software, cable(s) and any other accessories that came with the original package must be included.

Clearly write your RMA number on the top of the returned package.

SIIG will refuse to accept any shipping package, and will not be responsible for a product returned without an RMA number posted on the outside of the shipping carton.

You are responsible for the cost of shipping to SIIG. Ship the product to the following address:

SIIG will ship the repaired or replaced product via Ground in the U.S.

and International Economy outside of the U.S. at no cost to the customer.
