3M™ Headers, N3000, N4600, N2500 Series .100” Pitch,

In order to improve manufacturability, 3M is changing the standard color of non-RoHS compliant*, high
temperature headers in our N3000, N4600 and N2500 .100” Pitch Header Series product lines from beige
to black. The resin material – PCT - remains unchanged. Existing process and electrical specifications, as
well as dimensions remain unchanged. High temperature RoHS compliant parts are already black and thus
remain unchanged. Note that part numbers will NOT change. Affected tech sheets are: TS0772, TS0771,
TS0774, TS0773, TS0770 and TS0168. They will be updated to reflect this change.
3M will accept last time purchases for the beige color material until 5:00 PM Central US time, August 30,
2010. All orders received by 3M after this date will be shipped with black parts. Customers who require
support for the beige resin beyond the stated last time buy date must contact 3M in writing by close of
business on August 31, 2010. In some instances it may be possible to support special extension requests.
Extensions may be granted where possible, at 3M's discretion.
