SETTING UP YOUR RAZER EDGE

1. Connect the power adapter from an outlet to your Razer Edge.

2. Charge the battery to Full.

3. Press and hold the Power button until the Razer logo appears.

4. Configure the operating system by following the Windows 8 Setup Guide.

1. Select the language for your Operating System.

Choose from the list your preferred default language for Razer Edge.

Tap Next.

3. Enter your Windows product key in the given field.

Refer to the Microsoft® label under your Razer Edge and key in the necessary information.

Tap Next.

4. Personalize your Windows® 8

Choose your preferred desktop theme and PC name.

Tap Next.

5. Customize your system settings.

The Setup Wizard includes a set of pre-configured settings that you can use to quickly set up your Windows device. Tap Use express settings to use the list of settings shown on the interface and skip to step 7 of this guide.

Alternatively, you can tap Customize to manually configure your Region, Language and

Keyboard Layout.

Tap Next.

6. Setup a login account.

Enter your User name for logging into Windows. If you wish to secure your login with a password, fill out the Password, Reenter password and Password hint textboxes.

Tap Finish to complete the Windows setup.

CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET

1. Activate the Charm bar by swiping the right edge of the screen.

2. Tap the Settings icon on the Charm bar.

3. Tap the wireless network icon.

4. Tap the network you wish to connect to and tap Connect.

5. Enter the network password (if any) and tap Next.

6. Select whether to turn network sharing on/off.

7. Once you are connected to the wireless network, tap anywhere outside the sidebar to return to the desktop.

SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE

SAFETY GUIDELINES

In order to achieve maximum safety while using your Razer Edge, we suggest that you adopt the following guidelines:

1. In case you have trouble operating the tablet properly and troubleshooting does not work, contact the Razer hotline or go to www.razersupport.com

for support. Do not attempt to fix the device yourself.

2. Do not take apart the device (doing so will void your warranty) and do not operate it under abnormal conditions.

3. Keep your tablet away from liquid, humidity or moisture. Operate your tablet only within the specified temperature range of 0°C (32°F) to 35°C (95°F). Should you operate it in a temperature that is beyond this range, unplug and switch off the tablet to let the temperature stabilize within the optimal range.

BATTERY

The Razer Edge contains an internal rechargeable battery. In general, the life expectancy of this battery is dependent upon its use. If you suspect that the internal rechargeable battery is drained or has a low charge, try recharging it. If the battery does not recharge after several attempts, you may need to contact technical support.
