FURTHER INFORMATION

Internal Memory and Picture Resolution

The Internal Memory of the Frame is 16Mb. This is sufficient for 15 pictures. Images above 1Mb will automatically be downsampled to about 1Mb.

The screen resolution is 480x234 pixels. This corresponds to a total resolution of 112,500 pixels (0.125MP). Playing very high resolution pictures through the screen will slow loading times without improving viewability.

Formats, Files and Folders

This unit recognises JPG format pictures. If there are other files on the disc these will not be recognised.

If the pictures are organised in folders, the folder structure will not be recognised but all the JPG format pictures will be recognised and played.

Extended Use

Heat: After extended use, the frame may get warm.

This is normal and not a cause for concern.

Screen Burn: Contrary to popular belief, if you leave a static picture on the screen for a long time you may leave a permanent ‘after image’ on the screen. The Slide show mode stops this from occurring.
