Extron electronic SW RGBHV A Switch Setup guide
Add to my manualsExtron electronic SW RGBHV is a series of switchers designed to handle RGBHV, RGBS, RGsB, or RsGsBs video or component video signals. They can also switch stereo or mono audio signals. The switchers have a variety of features that make them suitable for a wide range of applications, including:
- Input and output connections: The switchers have a variety of input and output connections, making them compatible with a wide range of devices.
- Audio level adjustment: The switchers allow you to adjust the audio level of each input, so that there is no noticeable volume difference among sources. This eliminates the need for separate preamps or attenuators.

Step 4 — Remote port
Connect a host device, such as a computer or touch panel control via RS-232, OR connect a remote contact closure device to the switcher via the 9-pin D connector for
5 1 remote control of the switcher.
To command a switch under contact closure control, momentarily short an input’s pin on the remote connector to ground (the switcher must be in normal [manual] mode).
