PLACEMENT OF LENS ON CAMERA
To attach the lens to the lens mount, turn the lens clockwise on the lens mount until it reaches the end of the
threads. At this point, you can turn the lens and lens mount
assembly on the camera by turning the assembly counterclockwise and clockwise. Now you can easily adjust the
camera back-focus and the lens fixing position.
As indicated in Figure 2, when placing lens on the camera,
part of the Galvanometric meter must be positioned on the
left side when facing the front of the camera. When you
take the lens off the camera, turn counter-clockwise.

CABLE CONNECTION OF LENS CONNECTOR
The following configuration is common for mono-focal and
vari-focal lenses. If a bad connection occurs, both the lens
and camera may malfunction and breakdown. As a result,
please follow the diagram in Figure 1 below very carefully.
WARNING: These 1/3" format lenses are designed for CSmount cameras only and, therefore, cannot be used for Cmount cameras.
DC-TYPE, AUTO-IRIS MECHANISM
This lens does not have a built-in amplifier for auto-iris
control. The iris blade on the lens is being operated by DC
from the camera.
Please use this lens in combination with a camera that has
a built-in auto iris amplifier (DC-iris) or a camera that is
switchable between video signal and DC-iris.
