COMPANY HISTORY
• One of the oldest and leading companies in security
industry operating since 1843
• In 1843, Frederick Stanley started a small shop in New
Britain, Connecticut, to manufacture bolts, hinges, and
other hardware from wrought iron.
• In 1910, S. Duncan Black and Alonzo G. Decker
started their shop, similar in size at first, in Baltimore,
Maryland. Six years later they changed the world by
obtaining the world’s first patent for a portable power
tool, and the company they built has been changing
the world ever since.

• Stanley’s manual door systems were carefully designed
to meet the specific needs of hospital intensive and
cardiac care units (ICU/CCU). Their broad glass panels
provide an unobstructed view to patients, while leaving
patients undisturbed by nearby activity, noise or other
intrusions. They combines the features of both
swinging and sliding doors for easy, flexible access to
the patient area.

• Exit Protection: Alarm is triggered when infant gets near
an exit; system immediately identifies infant and exact
location.
• Tamper Protection: Alarm is triggered in software with any
attempt to detach or cut tag strap.
• Supervision Protection: Alarm is generated when regular
signal, which is sent out every ten seconds, is no longer
seen by the system
