The Satisloh RX-Lab-Software Modules offer the
perfect solution for managing daily work in smalland mid-size optical laboratories. They can be
used as stand alone software or easily integrated
into an existing lab management system.
Calculation

LDCS converter
The RX-Server-AF interface module manages all the
communication to the surfacing equipment. Additional
RX software modules, third party software or open-interface devices are easily connected.
LDCS converter enables machines to communicate via
TCP/IP with the RX-Server-AF.

For spheric/toric backside lens production the lens calculation software RXpert calculates lens processing data
for single vision, bifocal, trifocal, progressive, lenticular +
and executive orders.
The Toro-X-Server can manage the polishing process
information needed for “hard tool” polishing and always
sends the appropriate macro information to the ToroX-2SL polisher. For Satisloh “soft tool polishers” the
i-FLEX-Server takes care of sending the optimal process
parameter to the connected equipment. The DLP-Server
runs Satisloh DLP polishers with almost any job.
To complete the order, the Satisloh Edge-Server manages the connection to all finishing equipment.

Edge-Server
For the Finishing Lab Satisloh offers the Edge-Server
module. The Edge-Server is dedicated to run finishing
tracers blockers, and edgers.
It’s compatible with all Satisloh finishing equipment as
well as third party products.
The Edge-Server module can run separately as a
stand alone setup or can be connected to the Satisloh
RX-Server-AF or any other LMS.

2. Traditional lens manufacturing
For digital backside lens production the AF-Client
module can be used as an order entry work station for
digital lens calculation. The most common digital lens
calculation engines (LDS) can be connected to AF-Client/
AF-Server. The connection to the several LDS software
is done by AF-Server which just manages these connections and tells AF-Client what is possible to do with each
connected digital software.
Properly marking free-form lenses is important, it helps
locate the lens reference points later.
The marking can be done either by a laser (Satisloh
Lens-Engraver-LC) or mechanically by an optional
engraving feature in the VFT generator. Satisloh’s
LensMark-RX software helps create job files for the
Lens-Engraver-LC; the VFT Engraving Editor creates
layouts for the mechanical engraving feature and tells the
VFT generator which layout to engrave.
The i-FLEX-Server manages the polishing process information for Satisloh soft tool polishers. All non-Microsoft
Windows based polishers have to be connected to
RX-Server (LMS) via the i-FLEX-Server, others can be
connected directly.
With the DLP-Server even Satisloh DLP polishers can
run almost any job.
To complete orders, the Satisloh Edge-Server takes care
of the connection to all finishing equipment.

3. Digital (free-form) lens manufacturing
RX-Shape
RX-Ticket
Option to detect frame shapes of incoming fax orders or
drawings. RX-Shape is using a WACOM digitizer tablet.
Detected frame data will be stored into RX-Server-AF
and can be used from RXpert or AF-Client to calculated
centre thickness optimized lenses.
