AP800 AUDIO PERFECTTM AUDIOCONFERENCING SYSTEM PRODUCT OVERVIEW The Audio PerfectTM 800 (AP800) provides the highest possible audio quality available for conferencing applications. The AP800 contains Distributed Echo CancellationTM technology, microphone mixing, audio processing and matrix mixing all in a single one rack unit audioconferencing system. Simply install and configure the AP800, sit back, and let one or more AP800 units handle up to 64 microphones! The AP800 features acoustic echo cancellation and audio processing on each automatic gating mic or line input. This technology is vastly superior to system-wide echo cancellation, because it eliminates the gating and audio processing issues that continually hamper such systems, resulting in highly reliable, clear, transparent audio for use in the most demanding environments. Each of the unit’s eight programmed inputs and the four auxiliary line inputs can compensate for loud or soft talkers using automatic gain control (AGC). It also offers channelized equalization for continuous cut or boost as well as high-pass filtering to reduce unwanted low frequency noise. The AP800 provides extreme flexibility for your applications. Each unit provides eight processed microphone or line inputs, eight programmable outputs (programmable meaning configured with any number of inputs), four auxiliary line-level inputs and four auxiliary line-level programmable out- FEATURES/BENEFITS puts (for CODECs, Audio PerfectTM 10’s (AP10 telephone interface), external PAs, sound reinforcement, VCRs, CD players, etc.). You get the idea! For conference applications where you need significant microphone coverage or multiple telephone line conferencing, up to eight AP800 units and 16 AP10 units can be GLinked together using Gentner’s high speed digital network bus. All G-Linked devices can be controlled and upgraded via a single RS232 connection. Truly linkable—the AP800, via the GLink (high-speed digital bus) allows for system expansion to accommodate applications requiring up to 64 microphones—all system parameters (gating, NOM, chairman override, PA adaptive, etc.) are linked and function as one system Setup and configuration are simple and may be accomplished one of two ways: 1) Using the AP800’s front panel “quick key setup” and LCD display, or 2) Via Gentner’s Audio PerfectTM Tools (Windows 95) on a PC. Once presets are customized, you may access one of the six preset programs on the fly from a remote control panel (such as AMX or Crestron), a switch, or the unit’s front panel. Each of the eight inputs incorporate Automatic Gain Control (AGC)— compensates for loud or soft talkers So relax! The AP800 will handle your most demanding acoustic environments and routing configurations! On-the-fly configuration changes—six presets, “customizable” programs can be accessed from a remote control, switch, or front panel Applications: Distance Learning Teletraining Telemedicine Courtrooms Conference Rooms Boardrooms Hotels 800.945.7730 801.975.7200 Distributed Echo CancellationTM—technology on each of the eight automatic gating mic/line inputs which drastically improves overall system performance, flexibility and setup House of Worship Send this document to any fax machine with Gentner’s Fax-On-Demand: 1.800.695.8110 Doc. #2016 Programmable matrix outputs—allows for simple system customization for a wide variety of applications and individual customer requirements Easy “plug and play” echo cancellation—easy to design, program, install and maintain Full-duplex audio—for conferencing applications allowing absolutely clear transparent audio One rack unit performs the function of several external audio devices—audio functions are designed to work together as a complete audioconferencing system AP800 AUDIO PERFECTTM AUDIOCONFERENCING SYSTEM SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS Number of Open Microphones (NOM) PA Adaptive Mode First Mic Priority Mode Last Mic Mode Maximum # of Mics Mode Ambient Level Gate Threshold Adjust Off Attenuation Adjust Hold Time Decay Rate CHANNEL CONFIGURATIONS Programmable microphone inputs may be configured globally or individually, including Input gain adjust Mic or line level Phantom power on/off Mute on/off Chairman override on/off High-pass filter on/off EQ (low, mid, high) adjustable, On/Off AGC on /off Auto gate/Manual gate/Gate override Adaptive ambient on/off AEC on/off AEC Reference Ref 1/Ref 2 NLP adjust Off, soft/medium/aggressive Gentner Communications Corporation 1825 Research Way Salt Lake City, UT 84119 USA 800.945.7730 801.975.7200 Fax: 801.977.0087 http://www.gentner.com SPECIFICATIONS Options: 1.
