MOUNTING FLANGE

mounting flange must be inserted
into the back recess of the 415VF or
435VFS15 product as shown. The
foam gasket supplied with 415VF
or 435VFS15 product should be
mounted on wall surface regardless
STEP 1:
Mark and cut out hole in wall
where 415VF, 435VFS15 or
435VFSM is to be located (use
foam gasket as a template).
STEP 2:
Fix foam gasket over hole.
STEP 3:
If required place 435VFSM
Mounting Flange on gasket.
STEP 4:
Connect cables to socket and
screw fix socket to product housing
(fix shroud for 435VFS15)and screw
fix product to wall.
Recommended screws see NOTE below
if mounting flange is used.
NOTE: Silicon may be required on
some surfaces to achieve IP34 rating.

circular flexible cords.

WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
Note: All wires are clamped between the moving nut and the fixed contact.
DO NOT wrap wires under head of screw.
WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Strip insulation (as illustrated) and twist bare conductor strands.
Note: All wires are clamped between the moving nut and the fixed contact.

2.
Slide the connector cover over the flex.

3.
Connect the Earth wire (Green/Yellow or Green) to the terminal
marked ‘E’.

Slide the plug cover over the flex.
4.
Connect the Active (Live) wire (Brown or Red) to the terminal marked ‘A’.

Connect the Earth wire (Green/Yellow or Green) to the terminal marked ‘

Connect the Neutral wire (Blue or Black) to the terminal marked ‘N’.

Connect the Active (Live) wire (Brown or Red) to the terminal marked ‘L’.
6.
Place the Earth wire into the slot as illustrated and tighten cord clamp
around outer sheath of flexible cord.

Connect the Neutral wire (Blue or Black) to the terminal marked ‘N’.

Tighten cord clamp around outer sheath of flexible cord.
NOTE: 5mm of sheath minimum must be beyond the end of the
cord clamp.

7.
Check the wires are in their correct position (as illustrated) and
the terminal screws are tight.

Locate the outlet into position and ensure the fixing
screws are fully tightened.

Secure product to the wall.
