Unpacking the appliance
 Remove the device from its packaging.
 Remove all packaging materials from
the appliance, this includes packaging

 Fully check the appliance for any
damage before use. If the appliance is
damaged please contact our customer
service for replacement and repair of
original parts.

Assembling and using the appliance

jug to cool down as it is fitted with a
temperature sensor. To do this, place
1/2 pint of lukewarm water in the jug
and leave to stand for 10 minutes. DO
NOT use cold water cold water as this
could cause thermal shock to the

1. Prepare the ingredients according to
your recipe and fill the jug to the
indicated markings on the jug. Do not
exceed maximum marks indicated.
Always fill between the minimum and
maximum marks indicated on the jug.
2. Attach the mixing jug to the base unit
using the markings on the appliance.
The marking underneath the handle of
the jug will align with the markings on
the base unit.
9. Switch the appliance off and remove
the plug from the socket.
10.Serve according to your recipe.
3. Place the lid on the mixing jug and
rotate the lid clockwise so that it locks
into position. The lid is securely in place
when the lip of the lid aligns with the lip
of the jug and both side fittings have
clipped into place. The appliance will
not start until the lid is correctly fitted.
Please note: Do not exceed the
maximum marks indicated on the jug.

Functions of the appliance
4. Fit the measuring cap into the top of the
jug.
 The appliance operates using either
the power control button or with the
function buttons.
5. Plug the appliances electrical cord into
the electrical supply. Please ensure that
the voltage of the electrical supply
matches or exceeds that of the
appliance.
 A beep will signal the confirmation of
the button selection.
SMOOTH - For making soup with a
smooth texture.
6. Press the “ON/OFF” button. The
appliance will beep and the “ON/OFF”
button will begin to flash.
Follow steps 1-6 in “Assembling and using
the appliance”.
7. Select the function of the appliance.

The soup maker will automatically heat the
ingredients to the pre-set programme time
of 28 minutes without blending.
SPEED 3– High speed
Follow steps 1-6 in “Assembling and using
the appliance”.
TEMP– For cooking foods at different
temperatures.
The blend programmes are automatically
set at 3 minutes.
HIGH- For heating or keeping soups warm
up to 100˚C, also used for cooking.
4 beeps will signal the appliance has
completed its cycle.
MEDIUM- For heating or keeping soups
warm up to 80˚C.
Note: Always ensure the measuring cup
is attached to the lid and fitted correctly
to the jug before blending.
LOW- For heating or keeping soups warm
up to 60˚C.
 Press “TEMP” button.
DELAY– The DELAY button is used to
start the function of the soup maker at a
later time.
 Press the “TEMP” button again to scroll
through the temperatures.

duration
of
the
cooking
programmes are pre-set at 25 / 28
minutes each. You can manually adjust
the times during the process using the
“+/-” buttons between 1-90 minutes.
2. Press the “DELAY” button.
 Press the “ON/OFF” button.
 You can also switch to another function
during the process and the previous
duration of the program will be kept.
3. Set the time by pressing the “+/-” to
increase the delay time. E.g. if you
would like your soup to be ready in
4 hours time, press “+/-” to increase
the time. The soup maker will begin
in 3 hours 30 mins, therefore ready to
serve in 4 hours time.
 4 beeps will signal the appliance has
finished operating.

“TEMP”, “SMOOTH” OR “CHUNKY”.
5. Set the time by pressing the “+/-”
button.

Cleaning the mixing jug
Press the ice button to enter the
programme,

appliance
will
automatically stop after 50 seconds.
 Fill the mixing jug with water (approx.
1 litre) and add a few drops of washing
liquid.
ON/OFF
 Heat up the water in the jug for 8
minutes on a “HIGH” cooking setting.
ON– Press the button once. The indicator
lights will come on.
 Press the blend button (after the 8
minute cooking time has ended) for a
brief time.
OFF– Press the button once more. The
indicator lights will go out. The appliance
will now enter standby mode.
 Allow the water inside the jug to cool.
 Rinse the jug with clean water and dry
it off.
Cleaning the appliance
 Always disconnect the appliance from
the mains supply before beginning
cleaning.
Lid & Cap
1. Clean the components in a rinsing
bath.
 Never immerse the appliance in water
or liquid for any reason.
2. Rinse with clean water.
3. Dry the parts off.
 Please be aware that the blades in the
jug of the appliance are sharp.
 Do not use any materials or abrasive
wire brushes on the appliance.
 The mixing jug is not dishwasher safe.

300ml vegetable stock
Preparation: 15 minutes
3 tbsp. tomato puree
1 tsp olive oil

Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Score a
cross in the top of the tomatoes then
place the tomatoes onto a foil lined
baking tray. Separate the cloves of garlic
and peel. Scatter the garlic cloves
between the tomatoes. Drizzle the
tomatoes and garlic with 1 tbsp. of olive
oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place in the oven and roast for 30
minutes until the tomatoes are dark and
the skins are shriveled.
2. Add the onion, thyme, oregano and
tomato puree into the soup maker with
the vegetable stock.
Remove the
tomatoes and garlic from the baking
tray and add to the soup maker.

220g dark brown sugar
1 potato, peeled and chopped

175g ham, chunks plus extra for serving

1 sprig of rosemary

cool completely. Store in a cool dark

4 red peppers, chopped
6 chocolate cookies with cream centers

200ml milk
3cm fresh root ginger,

300g canned cherry tomatoes, without

Method
550g sugar
1. Place milk and 4 chocolate cookies into
the jug. Press “SPEED 1” until smooth.
200ml red wine vinegar
Method
1. Chop peppers, chillies, ginger and garlic
finely. Scrape into the soup maker jug.
2. Put canned cherry tomatoes, sugar and

Method
1. Pour the milk into the soup maker and
select “SPEED 1”to make it foam.

2. Add the ice cream and press “SPEED 1”.
200ml apple juice
Tip: To increase the flavour, add chopped,
fresh fruit to the blender, with the ice
cream and press “SPEED 1” until blended
to the desired consistency.

1. Hull the strawberries and cut in half.
2. Place the strawberries, blueberries,
mint leaves and apple juice into the
soup maker jug.
3. Lock the lid into place.
Peach and Passion
4. Press “ON/OFF”.

Abuse of your product will invalidate the
guarantee. Returned goods can only be
accepted if repackaged properly within the
original colour product box, and presented
with the original receipt of sale/order
number. This does not affect your
statutory rights.
Returned products must be cleaned and
returned to us in as close to delivery
condition as possible.
If your product develops a problem within
the first 12 months of the fixed warranty,
we will pay all shipping costs to have it
returned to us. After 12 months the
customer will be liable for the cost of
returning the product to us. We will then
pay to have the repaired/replaced item
shipped back to the customer.

Customers are responsible for any taxes
applied to our products when they are
shipped outside of the EU.
All of our prices are inclusive of VAT.
Once a product has been returned to us,
we will aim to repair or replace it within
30 days of receipt.

arising from improper use, damage, build
-up of lime scale or repair attempts made

Always ensure the voltage on the rating
label corresponds to the power supply
where the product is being used.
WARNING! This product must be
connected to an earthed electrical power
supply. The green/yellow conductor in
the supply cord must be connected to the
Earth terminal in the plug. The power
supply must have an Earth connection.
Precautions should be followed for safe
cable management and connection to the
power supply.
If a new mains plug needs to be fitted
follow the fitting instructions supplied with
good quality BS1363A plugs. If in doubt
consult a qualified electrician or appliance
repair agent.
 Safely dispose of the old plug.
 Connect the brown lead to the live
terminal “L” in the new plug.
Non-household waste. This product must
not be disposed of together with ordinary
household waste.
Separate collection of used products,
batteries and packaging allows the
recovery and recycling of materials. Reuse of materials helps prevent environ­
mental pollution and reduces the
demand for raw materials.
Local authorities, retailers and collection
organisations may provide for separate
collection of elec­trical products,
batteries and packaging.
 Connect the blue lead to the neutral
“N” terminal.
 Connect the green/yellow lead to
the earth “E” terminal.
Recommended fuse: 13 A.
If an extension cable is required, it must
have an earth conductor. To avoid
overheating the extension cable should be
rated no less than 13A and be fully
unwound before use.
