Manual Un-enroll iPhone/iPad from AirWatch
1. Delete the AirWatch MDM Agent App from your iPhone/iPad
a. Find the AirWatch Agent App on your iPhone/iPad
b. Long-press in the Agent App icon, then press the X in the upper right hand corner to
delete the App.
2. Remove the Management Profile
a. Open Settings
b. Go to General > Device Management
c. Select the MDM Profile/V_5 profile. This could also be any of the following:
MDM Profile/V_4
MDM Profile/V_3
MDM Profile/V_2
d. Select Remove Management

Manually Un-enroll Android Device
The process to remove AirWatch from an Android device can be a technical challenge due to the varied
Android manufacturers and carriers. The below instructions were developed using a Samsung Galaxy S5
and are meant to be a guideline to the process. ITS may not be able to support your specific phone.
If you have any concerns about this process, you can always have your device processed via the
migration schedule.
1. Disable Administrator Access for AirWatch and Email
a. Go to your Device Settings
b. Go to your Security Settings
c. Go to your Phone Administrator or Device Administrator settings
d. Uncheck all AirWatch Agent application
e. You will be prompted to deactivate the AirWatch Agent administrator access. Select
Deactivate

You will be prompted to Disable the Agent as Device Administrator access. Select OK

g. If you are using a Samsung Device, you will be prompted to uninstall the Samsung
AirWatch App. Select Uninstall
h. Go back to Settings > Security > Phone/Device Administrator
i. If you see Email listed, uncheck it.

You will be prompted to deactivate the Email administrator access. Select Deactivate

k. You will be prompted to disable the Email administrator access. Select OK.

2. Remove the AirWatch Agent App
a. Go to the Google Play Store
b. Press the 3 bar icon to access the Menu

c. Select My Apps

d. Locate and Select the AirWatch Agent
e. Select Uninstall
