Follow the instruction given below to install the USB 2.0 PCI Card

1. Turn your computer off

2. Remove the power plug from the plug socket.

3. Remove the cover from the computer case.

4. If fitted. Remove the metal cover plate on the rear of a free PCI slot (White).

5. Insert USB 2.0 PCI card into the free PCI slot and screw it firmly on the bracket side.

6. Place the cover back onto the computer.

7. Insert the plug into the plug socket.

6. drIver InstAllAtIon

WIndoWs 2000/XP/vIstA:

The system will automatically detect USB 2.0 PCI Card and install driver by itself under Windows Vista, XP, and 2000 operation systems .

Right click your mouse on “My Computer” and select “Properties” to check your operation system service pack version as below pictures shown. If your operation system is NOT microsoft Windows 2000 service www.kraun.it

If there is a yellow exclamation mark on “VIA USB Universal Open Host

Controller”, please remove this item from the Device Manager by clicking the

Uninstall button and click Refresh to re -install this driver again.

Questa scheda PCI USB 2.0 ti permette di collegare 1, 2, 3 o 4 dispositivi USB senza dover riavviare il sistema. Con le funzionalità Hot-Swapping and Plugn-Play, non avrai più bisogno di spegnere il computer per installare il nuovo hardware e inoltre non dovrai usare complicati cavi, nè preoccuparti più degli slot disponibili sulla scheda madre.

5. InstAllAzIone HArdWAre

Seguire le seguenti istruzioni per installare la scheda:

1. Spegnere il computer

2. Rimuovere il cavo di alimentazione dalla presa.

3. Rimuovere la cover dal case del computer.

4. Se incastrato. Rimuovere il pannello di copertura in metallo sul retro di uno slot PCI disponibile (bianco).

5. Inserire la scheda nello slot PCI disponibile ed avvitarla saldamente ai lati.

6. Posizionare la cover posteriore sul computer.

7. Inserire il connettore nella presa.

6. InstAllAzIone drIver

WIndoWs 2000/XP/vIstA:

Il sistema individuerà automaticamente la scheda PCI ed installerà automaticamente i driver per il sistemi operativi Windows Vista, XP, e 2000.

Cliccare col pulsante destro del mouse su “My Computer” e selezionare

“Properties” per controllare la versione del sistema operative come mostrato nell’immagine sotto. Se il tuo sistema operativo NON è microsoft

Windows 2000 service pack 4 o Windows XP service pack 1 o successivi, consigliamo di visitare il sito web (http://www.microsoft.com) o di usare la funzione di aggiornamento del sistema per aggiornare il sistema operativo all’ultima versione di service pack disponibile. Altrimenti questa scheda PcI usB 2.0 funzionerà soltanto con una velocità di trasferimento dei dati usB1.1.

notA:

Se è presente un punto esclamativo giallo su “VIA USB Universal Open Host

Controller”, rimuovere questa voce da Gestione Periferiche cliccando il pulsante

“Disinstalla” e cliccare “Aggiorna” per installare nuovamente il dispositivo.
