Product Overview
Perfect companions to the Brooke XPRO™ range of Multi Purpose cabinets, Brooke XPRO™ Power
Amplifiers feature the large power reservoirs and high currents required by more demanding audio equipment. Suitable for rackmount or table-top use, integrated lifting handles assist with transport and fitting.
A number of safety features are integrated into each XPRO™ Power Amplifier. These protect the amplifier itself and any other audio equipment that may be connected to it. In particular
• Temperature control circuits ensure operation up to 90°C. At this point a thermal shut-off protects the unit until the temperature drops to 88°C. During operation, fan speed will vary to maintain a stable internal temparature and it is normal to hear this.
• Speaker damage is prevented if an overload is detected by automatically removing clipping.
• Anti-surge circuits are fitted to compensate for power spikes that may occur during start up and shut-down.
