WARNING
SAS hot plugging is supported while SAS hot un-plugging is not. Because of this, the following rules apply:
– During initial setup, connect all cables between new JBOD(s) and the head enclosure prior to powering the new JBOD(s) on.
– Anytime after initial setup, when bringing down the entire storage setup to a powered off state, power down the head enclosure first. Then, power down the JBOD enclosures.
– Anytime after initial setup, when bringing the entire storage configuration back online from a powered off state, power up the JBOD enclosures first and make sure that the
cables are properly connected prior to powering up the head enclosure.

WARNING
Installation of the expandable L bracket rails should be performed by a trained technician. To install the expandable L bracket rails into your

1.) Loosen the two screws in the middle of both rails to allow each rail to be adjusted.
2.) Starting from the rear of the rack, extend the expandable L bracket rail until both ends touch the inside of the rack.
3.) Depending on whether you are installing the LEFT or RIGHT expandable L bracket rail, insert the side stamped/marked EITHER RL (REAR LEFT) or
RR (REAR RIGHT) into the rear of the rack. Secure the rail to the rear of your rack with two screws.
4.) Insert the side stamped/marked EITHER FL (FRONT LEFT) or FR (FRONT RIGHT) into the front of the rack. Secure the rail to the front of your rack
