Imation LTO Ultrium 4
The new standard in high-capacity,
open system data storage.
For years companies have relied on the power
of LTO Ultrium technology to provide a scalable,
adaptable open tape format for their storage
requirements.
Now Imation has advanced the power of LTO even
further with LTO Ultrium generation 4 tape
cartridges. These next-generation cartridges
combine the advantages of linear, multi-channel,
bi-directional formats with enhancements in servo
technology, data compression, track layout and
error correction.
The result is an exciting new tape storage media that delivers
outstanding performance and twice the capacity of LTO
generation 3 cartridges. Imation manufactures the generation 4
media at its state-of-the-art Tera Angstrom™ coating facility in
Weatherford, Okla., the only facility in the world built specifically
for terabyte-class tape manufacturing.
