Single leg Rope Absorber
Lanyard, including a tear
pouch energy absorber to
reduce impact forces on
the body to below 6kN.
As RAL but fitted with an
aluminum ring prethreaded
onto the rope section, for
choking around a suitable
anchor.
Twin leg lanyard, with single
shock pouch, allowing the
user the ability to transfer
between anchor points,
whilst ensuring that they are
always securely connected.*
*The RAL must only be used with the delta connected to the users harness, and NOT from the
connector on one leg to the connector on the other (therefore bypassing the shock pouch).

The RAL is available as a finished length (including shock pouch and fittings) of either 1.0m, 1.5m,
or 2.0m. For the RALT (Twin Leg), both legs are the same length, and this is measured from the
delta on the pouch to the end of one leg.
FITTINg o PTIo NS
The RAL (all variants) is supplied with a delta at the shock pouch end as standard (karabiner available
on request). The other end is available with the following fittings:
