The Social Alarm Management System compact (LMS
compact) from Bosch provides a convenient and
intuitive system to deal with Bosch IP alarm events on
a simplified interface. It also allows basic
administration activities associated with social alarms.

The SIP Server (not part of the LMS compact)
connects the operator to the Carephone via SIP
connection for voice. Therefore, the workstation can
use a SIP phone (soft- or hardphone).

Alarm events are transmitted via RBIP protocol over
WAN or LAN to the LMS compact, supporting broad/
external installations as well as in-house systems.
The alarm handling workstation containing the LMS
compact software accepts and processes incoming
alarms. The information required to handle alarms is
displayed. Administration activities can be performed
from the alarm handling workstation, through the
management of a device/subscriber data CSV file.
• Supervision of remote Carephone functions, such as
remote activation or remote sign-out
• Separate IDs for Carephones
• Self-definable device and subscriber fields
• Handling of test calls: test call interval, supervision,
recording in history
History, reports & statistics
• Logging of every event with time stamp
• Logging of all user action
• Logging can be sorted and filtered with an external
tool, via a CSV file, e.g. to prepare an overview of
history per device
