2) 9 pin Male to Male Gender Bender ( used to switch connection direction )
3) 20 pin Male connector - Blue Honda ( used in FANUC product )
4) 8 pin Male connector – DIN connector ( used for SODICK product )
5) 15 pin Male connector – White /square ( used for Mitsubishi products )
6) 20 pin Female connector – Silver Honda ( used for OKUMA products )
7) 8 pin Female connector – Green Sony ( used for Allen Bradley & 8400 products )
8) 15 pin Female connector – 15 pin LD ( used for Allen Bradley / Rockwell products )
9) 9 pin Female connector – 9 to 15 pin adapter ( used for SOG – Saber Diamond products )
10) 15 pin Female connector – 15 pin LD to 15 pin HD ( used for Acromatic 950 products )
11) 15 pin Male connector – 15 pin LD ( used for Schenck products )
12) 15 pin Male to Female connector – ( to be inserted an the end of the cable to filter out NOISE on sync lines )

3 pin power adapter cable ( commonly used on OKUMA / FANUC type product )
4 pin power adapter cable ( commonly used on Allen Bradley / Nematron type product )

12 VDC input – via 3 pin circular screw type connector ( typical – 3+ amp requirement)
24 VDC optional (15-30Vdc)
SETUP PROCEDURE
STEP #1 CONNECT THE VIDEO INPUT

Attach your 9 pin video source to ED’s 9 pin D connector on the rear panel OR
Attach your BNC cable video source to ED’s BNC input (3 wire, OR 4 wire OR 5 wire input) OR
Attach the 15 pin - 6’ Video cable to ED’s 15 pin D connector. Then choose a cable adapter for your application and connect it to
the end of the 15 pin video cable. (see adapter list above) Connect your video source to the adapter.
STEP #2 CONNECT THE POWER INPUT

Attach your 12 VDC source to ED’s 3 pin power connector input OR
Attach your AC power source (90-264Vac) to ED’s brick style POWER SUPPLY directly or with cable adatpers supplied.
STEP #3 AUTOMATIC SETUP
ED will display a SOLID BLUE screen and then display the video signal that is present.
PRESS and hold the CONTRAST>+ button for 3 SECONDS and ED will begin an AUTO SETUP using the video signal present.
STEP #4 TROUBLE SHOOTING
ED will display a messages if the SYNC is not connected ( NO SYNC PULSES ) ED is waiting for SYNC connection.
ED will display a message if there is no VERTICAL or HORIZONTAL synchronization signal is present. (NO VERTICAL SYNC)
ED will display a message if the sync is connected incorrectly. ( ARE SYNC SWAPPED? )
ED will display (measured and calculated) an image based upon the information provided.

Give ED as much video detail or screen information as the operator or system can provide. Try to provide a known video screen
with a border or perimeter, and one that fills the entire screen with characters or known video content.

