2. INSERTING THE BATTERY :
check that you insert the battery in the correct way. Do not force it in as
it could damage the camera and make it unusable.
3. CHARGING :
Connect your product to a computer using the USB cable provided.
The indicator no.5 will flash red while the product is charging. Once it is fully
charged, indicator no.5 lights up and stays red. Fully charging a battery takes
approximately 4 hours.
4. GETTING STARTED :
4.1. Inserting a µSD card
Insert the µSD card in the correct position following the direction shown.
You should hear a «click» indicating that the card is properly inserted.
This product only has an internal memory of 40MB which will lets you record
about ten seconds of film, or around forty photos.
It is preferable to use a µSD card.
This product is compatible with µSD/µSDHC cards of 2GB to 32GB.
4.2 Switching on the product
Turn on the power by moving switch no.1 to the «ON» position.
The LCD screen, and indicator no.5 will light up.
After 5 minutes without the buttons being used, the product will go automatically
into standby mode.
Press once on button no.2 to turn the product back on.
4.3 Recording a video
Press once on button no.2 to start recording.
The camera will emit a «beep» sound confirming the start of the recording.
The time shown on the LCD screen corresponds to the recording time used.
Press one more time on button no.2 to stop the recording.
The camera emits a «beep beep» sound to indicate the end of the recording.
The time shown on the LCD screen disappears.
4.4 Activating/deactivating the laser pointer
Press and hold button no. 2 until hearing a
«beep» (~3 seconds) to activate/deactivate
the laser.CLASS 2 LASER PRODUCT
The laser function cannot be used with
the waterproof case.
4.5 Taking a photo
Press once on button no.3 to take a photo.
The light
will display on the LCD screen then turn off.
4.6 «VOX» function
Move switch no.4 to the «ON» position to activate the «VOX» function.
This function is for using the product as a surveillance camera.
The product will automatically trigger a video recording when a sufficient sound
level is reached.
As the trigger sound level is very low, if the «VOX» function is activated
during sports use, the video recording will continue to be activated
5. DATA TRANSFER :
To transfer the videos and photos to your computer, connect the product to the
computer using the «USB» lead provided, then move switch no.1 to the «ON»
position.
The
icon displays on the LCD screen. You can then access two disks as
with a classic USB stick. The 1st is the internal memory. The 2nd is the µSD card.
If there is no µSD card inserted in the product, the 2nd disk will not be
accessible.
6. HELMET STRAP :
This strap is designed to be used on bike
helmets with ventilation.
Thread each strap through the helmet’s
vents, and through the clip to maintain the
support of the helmet.
7. ADHESIVE PAD FOR HELMET :
This adhesive pad is designed to be used with
all types of helmet.
The 3MTMsticker offers very resistant adhesion.
There are however some precautions to be ta
ken when attaching this pad.
• Clean and dry the surface onto which you are going to stick the pad.
• Make sure that the surface is as smooth as possible.
• Make sure that when you stick the pad you are in a dry environment at a
moderate temperature. Preferably indoors.
• This pad may be removed cleanly using the heat of a hairdryer.
8. WATERPROOF CASE :
This waterproof case has been specially designed for camera models G-EYE
720p and G-EYE 1080p.
It has been designed for use in the following conditions:
Using the waterproof box makes using the camera’s laser function impossible.
It also provides added protection from shocks.
• User precautions :
It is important to keep the waterproof seal clean.Tiny particles of dust and sand
may lead to loss of watertightness.You can easily remove the seal to rinse it in
clean water. Dry the joint then fit it back the right way
• Limitations of use :
The case may occasionally steam up. This does not necessarily mean it has
leaked.Given changes in temperature and humidity levels between the time you
close the case and when you come to use it, you may notice the case has steamed up.To prevent this, you may insert tiny desiccant pellets in the case.
9. Camera settings :
• With a long press on button n°3 (photo), you can enter the camera setting
menu
• Use buttons n°2 and n°3 to navigate through the menus and view the pages
on the LCD screen:
• Button n°2 is for entering a menu or a function.
• Button n°2 is also for validating a settingand returning to the functions.
• Button n°3 is for changing menu/function/setting.
• Button n°3 enables you to exit the settings menu by scrolling through
the functions to the end of the menu

10. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE :
• Handle the device with care - do not drop it or subject it to strong impacts.
• This product is not waterproof, do not subject it to sprays of water or immerse it.
• For increased safety, avoid using the buttons during action.
Loss of concentration can be dangerous
• Do not take the product apart, as this may lead to damage as
well as cancellation of the warranty.
• If you plan not to use the product over a long period of time (over 1 month),
make sure you remove the battery.
• Using the product in a very cold environment (temperature below -10°C) may
lead to a reduction in battery capacity, and therefore the product’s battery life.
11. LIMITED LIABILITY :
• GEONAUTE is not responsible for accidents or injuries caused by handling or
using the product during high risk sports.
• In particular, GEONAUTE insists on informing the user of possible loss of
concentration linked to using the product in dangerous conditions.
• The user is warned that they assume all legal liability for the taking, sharing,
and publication of images recorded with the product.
12. WARRANTY :
• GEONAUTE guarantees the initial buyer of this product that it is exempt of
faults relating to the materials or fabrication and does so for a period of 2 years
(inclusive) from the date of purchase.
• Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
• The warranty does not cover damage caused due to improper use, non-compliance with safety precautions, accidents, or the incorrect maintenance or
commercial use of the device.
• This warranty does not cover damage resulting from repairs carried out by
persons not authorised by GEONAUTE.
• The guarantees contained herein explicitly replace all other guarantees
including the implicit guarantee of merchantability and/or suitability for use.
GEONAUTE can, under no circumstances, be held responsible for any damage,
direct or indirect, of a general or specific nature, caused by or related to use of
these instructions or the product they describe.
• During the warranty period, the item will either be repaired free of charge
by an authorised repair service or replaced free of charge (depending on the
distributor).
• The warranty does not cover the battery, or casing that is cracked, broken or
presents visible dents.
