As a kid I loved being creative; from drawing my imagination with a pencil, building it
all with Lego to coding my own websites. While growing up, the mediums to express my
creativeness have changed, but the love for product design is still strong.

I brainstormed to come
up with more attractive
shapes and smarter
ways to produce
the soother.

the redesigned
soother uses less parts,
materials and packaging.
Also a cheaper LED-display
is used and the soother is
much easier to clean. This
is especially important
because the soother can
contain bad bacteria
after usage.

It will redefine the look of
the city and it is a welcome
addition to a city where
playgrounds are scarce.
I was responsable for the 3D
models, CAD drawings and
renderings for certain
play elements and
areas.

The ‘Rode
Hekkenplein’
(Red Fences Square)
needed a makeover.
The neighbourhood, called
‘Schilderswijk’, is an area that
deserves special attention. From the
start, making the new square foolproof
was an important target.
My job was to create a playground
element from the old red fences.
This was done by making
3D models and CAD
drawings.
During my
internship I also
assisted in designing
various small parts for bigger
projects. Projects like the park
‘Gardens by the Bay’ which
transformes Singapore into a city
within a garden. I also supported
in the design of the lilly tree
playground, which was developed
for the new sustainable
integrated shopping mall
‘Waterway Point’ in
SIngapore.

To
validate the
options for injection
moulding, strength
calculations were made
and a material analysis was
performed. The result is a
robotic vacuum cleaner that
is only 20x20x10 cm so it
can easily maneuver
between racks and
chairs.

“Design a control tablet and its UI
customised for the agricultural sector.”
The agrarian
sector is getting
more and more
automated. That is why
a robust and easy to use
controlling tablet is needed to
manage it all. To investigate
the needs for the tablet we
visited an almost full
automated cow
farm.

Workflow User Interface
The
tablet contains
both a touch screen
and physical buttons.
This way it can be operated
in every situation; with gloves
on and at low temperatures.
The waterproof case consists
of two shells. These are made
of PET and rubber using
2K-injection moulding.
The rubber provides
good grip.
