Connecting to Cell phone
The connecting procedure and what you will need will differ in the following cases:
1) Connecting to Cell Phone / Smartphone via Bluetooth
2) Connecting to Cell Phone / Smartphone using cables
 What You Will Need
1) Connecting to Cell Phone /
Smartphone via Bluetooth
2) Connecting to Cell Phone /
Smartphone using cables
You will need R-Talk 800EX and your cell phone /
smartphone. The type of provider does not matter.
 Go to How to Connect 
You will need R-Talk 800EX or 800PC, the Cell Phone
Cable** for R-Talk (option for 800PC), and cell phone /
smartphone. The type of provider does not matter.
 Go to How to Connect 
*The image shows when R-Talk 800EX is powered by battery (not included).
You can use the dedicated power adapter included in R-Talk 800EX if preferred.
**Check to confirm that your cell phone has 3.5mm jack. If your cell phone has different jack,
use the cable that is provided by the cell phone manufacturer or other suitable cable.

How to Connect to Cell Phone ①
The procedure for connecting to Cell Phone / Smartphone via Bluetooth

Press the “|” symbol on the power
switch (POWER) to turn the unit on.
Preparation is completed once the
Bluetooth light turns on and you
will hear some beeping sounds
from the R-Talk.

Press the Bluetooth pairing button
and the Bluetooth light will blink
slowly. When it starts to blink
rapidly, go to [3].

Call the other party from the cell
phone. You can speak into the RTalk using hands-free function.

Perform pairing using a cell phone.
The device name is “R-Talk”, the
passkey is “0000”. *
(The standby duration is approx. 1 minute.)
Start the conference when you hear
the voice on the other end. (Hang up
the cell phone when the conference has ended.)
* Process [3] : “Pairing”(registration) is necessary when you connect to a Bluetooth device for the first time.

[Cable A] 3.5mm [1/8”] plug–2.5mm [3/32”] plug

Arrange the Cable A and Cable B
included with the R-Talk.

Insert the 3.5mm [1/8”] plug end of
Cable A into the Cell Phone Cable
Outlet of the R-Talk

Insert the 2.5mm [3/32”] plug end of
Cable A into the 2.5mm jack of
Cable B.

Insert Cable B into the headphone
jack of the phone. Preparation is
completed.

Call the other party with the phone.
You can speak into the R-Talk.

Start the conference when you hear
the voice on the other end. (Hang up
the cell phone when the conference has ended.)
