Data Sheet: Endpoint Security

Symantec™ Multi-tier Protection Small Business Edition

Trusted protection from malware and email-borne threats

Overview

Symantec™ Multi-tier Protection Small Business Edition is a simple, easy-to-use, and cost-effective solution designed to safeguard business assets through Symantec’s trusted protection against malware, viruses, and spam. It provides unmatched defense for laptops, desktops, and servers, and it protects Microsoft® Exchange servers against email-borne threats and security risks.

Endpoint protection

Symantec Endpoint Protection delivers more than worldclass, industry-leading antivirus and antispyware signaturebased protection. It also provides advanced threat prevention that protects endpoints from targeted attacks and attacks not seen before. It includes turnkey, proactive technologies that automatically analyze application behaviors and network communications to detect and block suspicious activities, as well as administrative control features that allow you to deny specific device and application activities deemed as high risk for your organization—you can even block specific actions based on the location of the user. This multilayered approach significantly lowers risks and gives you the confidence that your confidential information and business assets are protected. Whether the attack is coming from a malicious insider or is externally motivated, endpoints will be protected.

Mail protection

Symantec™ Mail Security provides high-performance, integrated mail protection against virus threats, spam, and security risks while enforcing internal policies on Microsoft

Exchange servers. Symantec Brightmail™ based Premium

AntiSpam subscription is included to provide best-of-breed spam prevention without additional ongoing administration after initial setup.

Symantec also offers a range of consulting, technical education, and support services to guide you through the migration, deployment, and management of Symantec

Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition and help you realize the full value of your investment. Essential Support

Services provide confidence that your critical assets are supported around the clock, and for customers requiring onsite design and implementation services, Symantec™

Consulting Services has several offerings available.
