The compact, external, and multi-protocol parallel print server is compatible with all major printers using a parallel interface. He support with JetAdmin, Web

JetAdmin and Internet-Printing.

SILEXs thorough in-house compatibility testing with variety of printers and manufacturers assures the industry´s highest printer compatibility.

IPv6, anticipated to replace IPv4 as the new internet protocol standard, clears the way for new virtually unlimited number of user addresses. The SX-3100 supports this technology so users position themselves for future compatibility.

With ThinPrint.print client integrated into the firmware of the SX-3100, print data is decopressed directly in or at the network printer, which improves bandwidth perfomance of WAN and LAN systems through the printing process. The much needed bandwidth is available for other essential applications in server-based computing environments such as Windows Terminal Services and Citrix MetaFrame.
