• The simple design of the Ventless Hood eliminates need
for costly building modifications, and the hassles
associated with installation, or expansion, of conventional
ventilation hood systems.
• The Giles FSH-6 Ventless Hood is a 72” inch, one-of-a-kind,
Type-1, stainless steel recirculating hood, featuring our
proven Electrostatic Air Cleaning system, which meets
grease-laden vapor removal requirements for various
appliances.
• Optional stand effectively maximizes usable hood space
and makes installation much easier.
• The fire suppression system listed for use with the Giles
Ventless Hood is the Ansul R-102A Fire Suppression
System. The Hood includes factory-installed internal
piping, plenum nozzles, fusible link brackets and cable
conduit. External fire system components to be customer
supplied. Installation, charging, and testing must be performed
by an authorized Ansul distributor. This cost is the responsibility
of the customer and NOT included with purchase.
Design Features
Ventless Hood System
The Ventless Hood consists of a 4-Stage Air Cleaning process.
Stage-1 Two Stainless Steel Baffle Filters trap large grease particles (not
shown, mounted under Hood above appliances).
Stage-2 Two (2) Disposable Pre-Filters trap more grease particulate and ●
moisture.
Stage-3 Two (2) Electrostatic Air Cleaners (EAC) negatively charge finer
particulate, allowing it to be electrostatically collected on fins within ●
the cleaning cell.
Stage-4 Two (2) Disposable Charcoal Filters help eliminate cooking odor. ●
