This external enclosure for a 2.5" HDD comes with Smart

AP software. It provides exact information on the temperature in the case, the remaining HDD capacity as well as the momentary transfer speed. Even the ons and offs are counted for each HDD used. What is that good for?

You can set limits. Set the highest tolerated temperature or the limit fort he HDD occupancy and when reached, an alarm goes off.

Smart AP software

By clicking on button 1 – 4 the software shows the following information recorded on the HDD:

Button 1 -

HDD Status:

Total Space, Free Space,

Transfer Rate, HDD usage times

Here the HDD has 678 times power on/off circle, if the HDD has been used in other enclosure, the formal on/off circle will be counted further.

Button 2 -

HDD Temperature:

Current temperature and the highest ever reached temperature.

Button 3 –

Alarm Status:

If the preset temperature / capacity is reached, the left lamp will flash red.

By normal status the right lamp lights green.

Button 4 –

Setting:

Setting for HDD name, alarm temperature, alarm capacity proportion and refresh interval.
