STITCHES
1. R aise presser foot lever.
2. Press the needle up / down button or rotate the handwheel toward you to raise the needle in the position.
3. Place a spool of thread onto the spool pin and secure with the proper size spool cap (see page 11).
4. Pass the thread into the thread guide for upper threading and snap forward between the thread guide and guide plate.
5. Bring thread forward down the right channel, then to the left and up the left channel.
6. Pull the thread through and into the take-up lever from left to right.
7. Pass the thread down the left channel and into the thread guide at the base of the face cover.
8. Pass the thread from right to left into the thread guide on the needle clamp.
9. Thread the needle from front to back or follow directions for needle threader on next page.
This stitch will sew without stitches showing on right side of fabric.
Note:
If too much of the stitching shows on the right side of the fabric, change to a narrower stitch width or move the guide on the foot to the right.
If the zigzag does not meet the fold, widen the stitch
width or move the guide on the foot to the left.
Interesting decorative stitches can be produced by twin needle sewing application with two different colors of thread. Always making test sewing to help you determine the most appropriate setting for best sewing result.
1. Set stitch width no more than 3.5mm.
2 .Insert twin needle.
3. Push the auxiliary spool pin with felt washer into the hole on the folded handle, and put the second thread spool on this pin.
( See drawing 2).
4 .Thread the two different threads , following the threading route as instructed on page 11.
