AC-RK Rack Mount Kit (FG515)

WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, equipment has a grounding type plug that has a third (grounding) pin. This plug will only fit into a grounding type outlet. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.

Control Wiring

The 4-pin captive-wire connector on the rear panel (FIG. 2) provides wiring to

remote pushbuttons, switches, or relay contacts.

The PC1 provides one switched power socket for up to 1200 watts of equipment power.

Note: The PC1 will work the NXC-I/O10 input/output control card.

Front Panel Components:

AC1 pushbutton • This latching on/off switch controls power to a switched socket.

• The LED in the pushbutton indicates that socket power is

ON.

DIP Switch Controls the AC1pushbutton operating mode.

• Terminals accept 24 - 12 AWG wire.

• Socket for control of external equipment.

AC Power Input • 3-conductor line cord providing 120 VAC power to the PS1 and switched power socket.

DIP Switch Settings

The 4-position DIP Switch on the front panel is used to set the mode of

operation for the AC1 (remote operation) pushbutton (FIG. 3).
