The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance

(servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

This product utilizes a Class 1 laser to read Compact Discs. This laser Compact Disc Player is equipped with safety switches to avoid exposure when the CD door is open and the safety interlocks are defeated. Invisible laser radiation is present when the CD Player’s lid is open and the system’s interlock has failed or been defeated. It is very important that you avoid direct exposure to the laser beam at all times. Please do not attempt to defeat or bypass the safety switches.

12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid

Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

█ POWERING THE UNIT

Power the unit by connecting it to one of the following power sources.

Use the 9V AC/DC Adapter to connect the unit to a standard AC outlet.

█ DC CAR ADAPTER

Use the 12V DC Car Adapter to connect the unit to a vehicle’s DC Power Outlet, such as a car lighter outlet.

1. To power both the main unit and the screen, connect the AC/DC Adapter or

DC Car Adapter directly to the screen, then use the included power cable to connect the screen and main unit.

2. Connect the included Composite A/V

Cable to the video and audio outputs on the main unit to the video and audio inputs on the screen.

█ PLAYING A DVD

Load a DVD into the player.

1. Adjust the Power Switch to the “ON” position.

The DVD should start playing automatically.

2. If the DVD does not start playing automatically, press the Play/Pause

Button.

• Press the Skip/Search Buttons to skip through chapters on a loaded DVD.

Press and hold the Skip/Search

Buttons to fast-forward and rewind through a loaded DVD.

• Press the Stop Button to stop a DVD during play.

• Press the Subtitle Button to access the different subtitle options for the loaded

DVD.

� Press the Audio Button on the remote to access the different audio options for the loaded DVD.

� Press the Program Button to program a loaded DVD to play chapters in a chosen order.

Up to 20 items can be programmed at any one time.

� Press the Repeat Button once to repeat the current DVD chapter.

Press the Repeat Button twice to repeat the current title.

Press the Repeat Button three times to repeat the entire DVD.

Press the Repeat Button four times to turn the repeat function off.

� Press the Menu Button to return to the menu on a loaded DVD.

� Press and hold the Angle Button to view different angles of a loaded DVD.

Please note: the loaded DVD must include angle options for the angle button to work.

� Press the Zoom Button to zoom in on the loaded DVD.

� Press and hold the Slow Button to view the loaded DVD in slow motion.

█ PROGRAMING A CD

Load a CD into the player.

1. Adjust the Power Switch to the “ON” position.

The CD should start playing automatically.

2. Press the Program Button.

3. Use the Number Keypad to enter in the track numbers in the order you want them to play.

Up to 20 tracks can be programmed at one time.

4. Use the Directional Buttons to highlight the “Start” option on the display, and press the Select Button.

• Press the Stop Button twice to reset the programmed tracks.

█ USING THE HEADREST STRAPS

1. Slide the main unit and the included screen into their headrest strap cases.

2. Run the headrest strap through the Head Rest Strap Connections on the back of the main unit and the included screen.

3. Tighten the straps around the headrests of a vehicles seats.

Brightness/Color Button

Press and hold the Screen On/Off

Button to turn the display on the main unit off and on.

Press the Brightness/Color Button to access the brightness and color adjustments on the main unit.

After accessing the brightness and color adjustments, press the directional buttons to adjust the brightness and color.

27. Title Button

Press the Title Button to return to the title menu on a loaded DVD.

28. Menu Button

Press the Menu Button to return to the menu on a loaded DVD.

29. Skip/Search Buttons

Press the Skip/Search Buttons to skip through DVD chapters or CD tracks.

Press and hold the Skip/Search Buttons to rewind and fast forward through

DVD chapters or CD tracks.

30. Play/Pause Button

Select Button

Press the Play/Pause Button to play or pause a loaded DVD or CD.

Press the Select Button to make selections on the unit’s display.

Use the Directional Buttons to navigate the unit’s display.
