Assembly Precautions

1. Assemble only according to these instructions. Improper assembly can create hazards.

4. Keep bystanders out of the area during assembly.

5. Do not assemble when tired or when under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.

Use Precautions

1. This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with or near this item.

2. Use as intended only.

3. Inspect before every use; do not use if parts are loose or damaged.

4. Use the right product for the job.

There are certain applications for which the Lamp was designed.

5. Make certain to follow all local DMV

(Department of Motor Vehicles) laws regarding vehicles and vehicle lighting requirements.

6. Do not cut or rewire any part of the Lamp.

6. Replacement parts and accessories.

When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts will void the warranty.

7. Always check hardware and assembled

parts after assembling. All connections should be tight and hardware tightened.

8. Weight capacity and other product capabilities apply to properly and completely assembled product only.

7. Make certain the vehicle is turned off before doing any maintenance.

8. The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. Assembly Instructions

Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the beginning of this document including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.

Before operating this product be sure that you have all parts described in the Parts List and

Assembly Diagram located on page 4 of this manual. If you do not have experience doing this type of electrical work, the job should be done by an automotive service technician.

1. Make certain that the vehicle’s engine is OFF before doing any maintenance or installation. Proceed with the following steps for assembling the

2 Piece Marker/Clearance Lamp.

2. Use a pin connector or in-line splice connector (neither included) to connect the 2 Piece Marker/Clearance

Lamp to your vehicle. When using an in-line splice connector, it is not necessary to strip the wires.

3. Insert the wire from your vehicle into one channel of the in-line splice connector.

Insert the wire extending from the Lamp into the second channel of the in-line splice connector. Fold down the tab on the in-line splice connector to make the connection.

4. When mounting the lights to a trailer, both the forward (amber) and rear

(red) marker lights are connected to the trailer’s tail light wires.

5. When attaching the Lamp to the vehicle or trailer, the ground screw must make contact with a metal surface to assure proper grounding.

6. Once the wires are properly connected, test them before setting the Lamp in place.

7. To mount onto a trailer or vehicle, use the mounting holes on the Lamp. The mounting holes are spaced 3" from center to center and are 1/4" diameter. Make certain that the ground screw makes proper contact with a metal surface.

Mounting hardware is not included.

Installing the Light Bulb

1. To remove the Lens insert a screwdriver between the Lens and Housing.

Gently twist the screwdriver to pry the Lens) off of the Housing.

2. Gently grasp the Light Bulb (12VDC)

(included) and slide it into the socket. Twist until the Light Bulb locks in place. See Figure A.

3. Verify that the Light Bulb is securely in place. Snap the Lens back onto the Housing.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS

OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.

To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection verifies the defect, we will either repair or replace the product at our election or we may elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replacement. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
