• This product is not intended for medical use. It is intended only to provide a luxurious massage

• If you have any concerns regarding your health consult your doctor before using this product

Instructions for Use

Adaptor Instructions

1. Insert adaptor plug into the control pad. (Fig. 1)

This unit incorporates a wire frame allowing you to contour the unit to your neck. (Fig. 2)

2. Plug into a AC 120-volt outlet.

3. Place massager on your neck and mold the wire framing to desired position. (Fig. 2)

4. To activate the massage action, press the massage button on the control pad. (Fig. 3)

5. Press once for high speed, a second time for low, and press again to turn the unit off.

6. To activate the heat function, with massage running, press the heat button on the control pad. (Fig. 3) The LED illuminator will glow red.

7. To turn off the heat function, simply press the heat button again.

NOTE: Heat is a mild, comfortable heat.

Optional Battery Instructions

Please note: Batteries will only operate the massage function. You must use the adaptor to activate the heat function.

1. Locate the zipper on the back of the unit.

2. Unzip to expose the battery compartment, remove lid. (Fig. 4)

3. Insert 4 “AA” batteries (not included). Proper battery orientation is noted inside the battery compartment housing.

• Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g., alkaline with

carbon-zinc or old batteies with new ones).

• Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to

battery installation

• Remove used batteries promptly

• If the unit is going to be used for a long period of time, remove

batteries to prevent damage due to possible battery leakage.

4. Replace the cover and zip the back portion back up, making sure both zipper ends are touching each other to ensure zipper is closed properly.

5. To activate massage, follow steps 3 – 5 from adaptor instructions.

Maintenance

To Store

Place massager in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place. Avoid contact with sharp edges or pointed objects. To avoid breakage, DO

NOT wrap the power cord around the unit. DO NOT hang the unit by the power cord.

To Clean

Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Clean only with a soft, slightly damp sponge. NEVER allow water or any other liquids to come into contact with the unit.

• DO NOT immerse in any liquid to clean.

• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, or strong chemicals

that might or might not be flammable and/or damaging to

the product to clean.

• DO NOT attempt to repair the massager. There are no user

serviceable parts. For service, send the unit to the HoMedics

address listed in the warranty section.

HoMedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, except as noted below.

HoMedics warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation; unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of HoMedics.

This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.

THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE

SHALL BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY

OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF THE

Instrucciones de uso

Instrucciones para el Adaptador

1. Inserte el enchufe del adaptador en teclado de control. (Fig. 1).

Esta unidad incluye un marco de alambre que le permite contornear la unidad a su cuello. (Fig. 2).

2. Enchúfelo en un tomacorriente de 120 voltios AC.

3. Coloque el masajeador en su cuello y moldee el marco de alambre en la posición deseada. (Fig. 2).

4. Para activar la función de masaje, orpima el botón de masaje en el teclado de control. (Fig. 3).

5. Oprima el botón una vez por alta velocidad, una segunda vez por baja, y una vez más para apagar la unidad.

6. Para activar la función de calor, con el masaje activado, oprima el botón de calor en el teclado de control. (Fig. 3). Un LED de color rojo destellará.

7. Para apagar la función de calor, simplemente oprima el botón de calor nuevamente.

NOTA: El calor es suave y confortable.

Instrucciones para la Batería Opcional

Atención: Las baterías activan sólo la función de masaje. Usted debe usar el adaptador para activar la función de calor.

1. Ubique la cremallera en el respaldo de la unidad

2. Abra la cremallera para exponer el compartimiento de las baterías, retire la tapa. (Fig. 4)

3. Inserte 4 baterías “AA” (No incluidas). La posición correcta de las baterías está anotada al interior de la caja del compartimiento de las baterías.

• No combine diferentes tipos de baterías (p. ej. alcalinas con cinccarbono o baterías viejas con nuevas).

• Limpie los contactos de las baterías antes de instalar las nuevas.

• Retire las baterías usadas a la brevedad.

• Si no se usa la unidad por un largo período de tiempo, retire las baterías para prevenir daños debidos a posibles goteos de las baterías.

4. Vuelva a colocar la tapa y cierre la cremallera, asegurándose de

que ambos extremos de la cremallera se toquen, para asegurer de

que la cremallera quede bien cerrada.

5. Para activar el masaje, siga los pasos 3 – 5 de las instrucciones del adaptador.

Mantenimiento

Para guardar

Coloque el masajeador en su caja o en un lugar seguro, seco y fresco.

Evite el contacto con bordes afilados u objetos puntiagudos.

Para evitar roturas, NO envuelva el cable de corriente alrededor de la unidad. NO cuelgue la unidad del cable del controlador.

Para limpiar

Desenchufe la unidad y deje que se enfríe antes de limpiarla. Limpie

únicamente con una esponja suave, apenas humedecida. NUNCA permita que el agua ni otro líquido entren en contacto con la unidad.

• NO sumerja la unidad en ningún líquido para limpiarla.

• NUNCA utilice limpiadores abrasivos, cepillos o productos químicos fuertes que puedan o no ser inflamables y/o perjudiciales para el producto para limpiarlo.

• NO intente reparar el masajeador. No hay piezas que necesiten servicio. Por servicio, envíe la unidad a la dirección de HoMedics que se detalla en la sección de garantía.

Sin embargo, no existe garantía de que la interferencia no ocurrirá en una instalación en particular. Si este equipo causa interferencia dañina a la recepción de radio o televisión, lo cual puede determinarse encendiendo y apagando el equipo, se anima al usuario a intentar corregir la interferencia a través de una o más de las siguientes medidas:

• Cambie la orientación o ubicación de la antena de recepción.

• Aumente la separación entre el equipo y el receptor.

• Conecte el equipo a un tomacorriente en otro circuito, donde no esté conectado el receptor.

• Consulte al distribuidor o a un técnico de radio/TV experimentado para obtener ayuda.
