INTRODUCTION
The InFocus
®
LP260™ multimedia projector is specifically designed for the mobile presenter. It generates crisp, clear images and is easy to connect, easy to use, easy to transport, and easy to maintain.
Image Resolution
The SVGA resolution of the LP260’s projected image is 800x600.
The projector cannot compress screen resolutions above
1280x1024. If your computer’s screen resolution is higher than
1280x1024, reset it to a lower resolution before you connect the projector.
Compatibility
The projector is compatible with a wide variety of computers and video devices, including:
• IBM-compatible computers, including laptops, up to 1280x1024 resolution.
• Apple
®
Macintosh
®
and PowerBook
®
computers up to
1280x1024 resolution.
• Most standard VCRs, DVD players, HDTV sources, camcorders and laser disc players.
Unpacking the Projector
The projector comes with the items shown in Figure 1. Check to
make sure all are included. Contact your InFocus dealer imme-
diately if anything is missing.
If you are experienced in setting up presentation systems, use the
Quick Start card that was included in the shipping box. For complete details on connecting and operating the projector, refer to this User’s Guide. User’s Guides are also available for download from our website at www.infocus.com.

NOTE: The projector automatically expands 640x480 images to
800x600. You can display these images at their native resolutions

Usage Guidelines
• Do not look directly into the projection lens when the lamp is turned on. The bright light may harm your eyes.
•
Do not block the grills on the projector. Restricting the air flow can cause it to overheat and turn off. If this happens, you must wait a minute before attempting to turn it back on.
• Handle the projector as you would any product with glass components. Be especially careful not to drop it.
• Avoid leaving the projector in direct sunlight or extreme cold for extended periods of time. If this happens, allow it to reach room temperature before use.
• Transport the projector in a vendor-approved hard or soft case.
Part numbers for these cases are listed on page 45.

SETTING UP THE PROJECTOR
1 Place the projector on a flat surface.
• The projector must be within 10 feet (3 m) of your power source and within 6 feet (1.8 m) of your computer.
• If you want to project from behind a translucent screen, set
up the projector behind your screen. See “Rear” on page 33
to reverse the image.
2 Position the projector the desired distance from the screen.
• The distance from the lens of the projector to the screen and the zoom setting determine the size of the projected image.

The projector is compatible with these major broadcast video standards: NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N, and SECAM.
It automatically adjusts to optimize its performance for the incoming video.
Powering up the Projector and Adjusting the Image
1 Remove the lens cap.
2 Plug the power cord into the side of the projector, then plug it into your electrical outlet. A surge-protected power strip is recommended.
• The Ready indicator on top of the projector lights green, indicating the projector is ready to be turned on, and the
Lamp indicator lights red.
3 Press the power button on the top of the projector or on the remote.
• The fans start to run, the Lamp indicator dims, and the
Preparation screen appears. This screen counts down from
30 seconds, then the image from the active source appears.
4 If you connected a video player, turn it on.
• The video image should display on the projection screen. If a computer source is active, press the source button on the
video button on the remote to display your video image.
• Use the volume buttons on the remote to adjust the volume.
The volume dialog box, showing the current volume level and mute status, appears for 4 seconds.
NOTE: Always use the power cord that shipped with the projector.
NOTE: The first time you connect your computer to the projector, the computer may display a message stating that new hardware was found. The Add New Hardware
Wizard may appear. Use the Wizard to load the correct driver (the computer considers the projector a
Plug and Play Monitor).

NOTE: With some computers, the order in which you power up the equipment is very important.
Most computers should be turned on last, after all other peripherals have been turned on. Refer to your computer’s documentation to determine the correct order.
NOTE: To maximize lamp life, allow the projector to run for at least five minutes before turning it off.
5 Turn on your computer.
• The computer image should display on the projection screen. If a video source is active, press the source button on the keypad or the computer button on the remote to display your computer’s image. Make sure your laptop’s external
video port is activated; see “Portable and Laptop Activation
Chart” on page 46 for details.
• If necessary, make adjustments to the image using the projector’s on-screen menus. To open the menus, press the menu button on the keypad or remote, then select the desired menu. For more information about the menus, see
Turning Off the Projector
If you want to turn off the image for a short period of time, press the Blank button on the remote. This blanks the screen, but keeps the projector running. To exit Blank mode, press the Blank button again or any other function button.
To turn off the projector, press the Power button. The message
“Power off?” appears on the screen. Press the Power button again to turn the projector off. The Lamp indicator lights, and the
Ready indicator dims. The fans run for 90 seconds after the projector is turned off. When the projector has cooled, the Ready indicator lights green, indicating you can turn the projector back on if desired.

USING THE PROJECTOR
This section describes how to use and make adjustments to the projector. It also provides a reference to the keypad and remote buttons and the options available from the on-screen menus.
Adjusting the Image
To focus the image, rotate the focus ring (Figure 7) until the image
is clear. To zoom the image, rotate the zoom ring. This adjusts the image size without affecting focus. Turn the ring in the “Wide” direction to make the image larger and in the “Tele” direction to make the image smaller.

The projector is equipped with self-locking, quick-release eleva-

1 Lift the front of the projector and lift the feet lock latches on
both sides of the projector (Figure 8).
2 Raise the projector to the height you want, then release the latches to lock the elevator feet into position. If necessary, turn the feet to fine tune the position and tilt.

Keystone Adjustment
Use this feature to adjust the image vertically and make a squarer image.
1 Press the keystone up/down button on the remote or select Key-
stone in the Screen menu (see page 16 for details on the
menu).
The message “Keystone” appears.
2 Press the keystone up button or the point up button to reduce the upper part of the image, and press the keystone down button or the point down button to reduce the lower part.

Using the Remote Control
To control the computer’s mouse from the projector’s remote or keypad, you must connect one of the Control cables to the com-
puter. See page 7 for details.
Turn the remote on using the on/off button on the side of the remote. Point the remote control at the projection screen or at the front of the projector (not at the computer). The range for optimum operation is about 16 feet and 60 degrees from the front of
the projector (see Figure 10). If you point the remote at the projec-
tion screen, the distance to the screen and back to the projector must be less than or equal to 16 feet. For best results, point the remote directly at the projector.

Press anywhere on the edge of the point button to move the cursor on the screen. You can move the cursor at any angle by press-
function buttons.
If you are creating presentations in Microsoft
®
PowerPoint
®
, you can use the remote’s right click , select , and point buttons to navigate through your presentation while in Slide Show mode. To configure PowerPoint for this, choose Options from the Tools menu, click the View Tab, de-select the “Popup Menu on Right
Mouse Click” option in the Slide Show section, then click OK.
Then, when you’re in PowerPoint’s Slide Show mode, a left click advances to the next slide and a right click returns to the previous slide (other PowerPoint modes are not affected).

Press this button to navigate in the menus, make adjustments to menu items, or pan the image in Digital Zoom mode. When you press the center of this button on the remote, it works like the select button.

When you have more than one source (computer and video) connected to the projector, select between them by pressing the source button on the keypad or the computer or video button on the remote.
Keystone
Use this button to adjust the keystone distortion. See page 12 for
details.
d. zoom (digital zoom)
This allows you to zoom a computer image. See page 25 for
details.
Volume
To increase the volume, press volume +. To decrease the volume, press volume -.
Mute
Press mute to mute the sound. To restore the sound to its previous level, press the mute button again or the volume +/ button.
P-timer button
This feature allows you to set a timer. Press the p-timer button to display and start the timer. Press it again to stop the timer. Press it again to remove the timer from the display.
Blank
When you press blank , the display and audio turn off and a blank screen is displayed until you press the blank button again or any function button.
Freeze
Press the freeze button to freeze the image on the screen. To unfreeze the image, press the freeze button again or any function button.
Auto Image
Press this button to automatically adjust the image. See page 23
for details.
Right Click
Use this button to compress the image in Digital Zoom mode (see

Using the On-Screen Menus
The projector has menus that allow you to make image adjustments and change a variety of settings. Most of these adjustments aren’t available directly from the keypad.
To open the on-screen menus, press the menu button on the remote or keypad. A red frame appears around the selected menu. Use the point buttons on the remote or keypad to move the cursor left and right. To select an item, press the select button on the remote or keypad.

To change a menu setting, use the up and down point buttons to move the cursor up and down to the item you want to change
(the pointer changes to a red arrow), then use the left and right point buttons or the select buttons to adjust a setting. All changes are saved when you close the menus.
To access another menu, use the up point button to return to the menu bar, then use the right and left point buttons to move to the desired menu (you may need to Quit out of a menu before navigating to the top menu.)

Computer Adjustments
Select Computer mode by pressing the source button on the keypad, pressing the computer button on the remote, or clicking the
Computer icon in the menu. When you select Computer, the current mode display appears, showing details of the connected computer.

System Menu
The projector automatically adjusts to most incoming computer signals and projects the image without any user interaction. If a problem is encountered, the message “Go to PC adj.” may appear and the settings must be input manually. If the message “No signal” appears, verify the connections between the projector and
the computer. See Troubleshooting on page 39 for more informa-
tion.
To select the computer system manually:
1
Select the System menu (see “Using the On-Screen Menus” on page 17 for menu navigation details).
The “System” menu appears.

2 Press the point down button, move the arrow to the system you want to select, then press the select button.
These systems are set up using the PC Adjustment menu.
PC Adjustment
The projector automatically adjusts to most incoming computer signals and projects the image without any user interaction.
However, some computers employ unique signal formats that the projector cannot handle properly. These images may flicker or appear non-synchronized. The PC adjustment feature allows you to specify parameters to match the unique signal formats and save and restore five different unique settings.
1 Select the PC Adjust menu.
The “Where to reserve” menu appears.
NOTE: This feature is not available when RGB, HDTV1035i, or
HDTV1080i is selected in the System menu.

2 Select where to save the settings. “Free” indicates no settings have been saved; “Stored” indicates settings have been saved.
The “Parameter adjustment” menu appears.

3 Move to the parameter you want to change using the point up/ down buttons, and adjust each setting using the point right/left buttons.
4 Navigate to “Save” and press the select button.
The parameter is memorized in the selected mode.
5 To activate the mode, select it in the System Select menu (see

The number of vertical lines.
Horiz. Size
The number of dots in one horizontal period.
H Position/V Position
The left/right and up/down position of the image.
Clamp
The clamp level. If the image has dark bars, use this adjustment.
Display area
The area displayed by the projector. Point the arrow at the Display area option and press the select button to open a dialog box where you can select the resolution from a list, or adjust the value with the left and right point buttons.
Full Screen
Select On to resize the image with a 4x3 aspect ratio.
After adjusting the settings, press Save to save the settings, press
Reset to recall the saved settings, press Mode Free to clear the previously saved settings, and press Quit to close the menu.

Image Menu
The Image menu allows you to manually adjust the image.
1 Select the Image menu.
The “Image Adjustments” menu appears.

Fine sync
Adjust the sync as necessary from 0 to 255 to eliminate flicker in the image.
Horiz. Size
Press the point buttons to adjust the number of dots in one horizontal period.
Color Balance (Red, Green, Blue)
Press the point left button to lighten the color and the point right button to deepen the color from 0 to 63.
Contrast
Press the point left button to decrease the contrast and the point right button to increase the contrast from 0 to 63.
Brightness
Press the point left button to darken the image and the point right button to lighten the image from 0 to 63.

Gamma
Press the point left or right button to obtain better contrast from 0 to 16.
Auto Image menu
Auto image automatically adjusts fine sync, total dots, and image position for most computers. You can turn these automatic adjustments off and set these parameters manually, if desired.
1 Select Auto Image in the menu.
The “Auto Adjust Image” menu appears.

3 Press select to turn the automatic adjustments on and off.

Position
See the following section for instructions on setting this manually.
Press Save to store the on/off settings, press Start to start Auto

To adjust the image size or pan a computer image, select Digital
Zoom. The menus disappear and the message “D.Zoom” appears. The projector also enters digital zoom mode when the d.zoom
button on the remote is pressed.
To expand the image size, press the d.zoom
up button or the select button. The image is magnified by degrees.
To compress the image size, press the d.zoom
down button or the right click button. The image is reduced by degrees.
To pan the image, press the point up/down/left/right buttons.
Panning only works when the image is larger than the screen size.
To exit digital zoom mode, press any button except d.zoom

The color setting adjusts a video image from black and white to fully saturated color. Press the point left button to decrease the amount of color in the image, press the point right button to increase the amount of color in the image.
Tint
The tint adjusts the purple-green color balance in the projected image. Press the point left button to increase the amount of purple in the image, press the point right button to increase the amount of green in the image.
Color Balance (Red/Green/Blue)
Press the point left button to lighten the color, press the point right button to deepen the color.

Contrast
The contrast controls the degree of difference between the lightest and darkest parts of the picture. Adjusting the contrast changes the amount of black and white in the image. Press the point left button to decrease the contrast, press the point right button to increase the contrast, making the blacks appear blacker and the whites appear whiter.
Brightness
Adjusting the brightness changes the intensity of the image. Press the point left button to darken the image, press the point right button to lighten the image.
Sharpness
This setting adjusts the sharpness of a video image. Press the point left button to decrease the sharpness, press the point right button to increase the sharpness.
Gamma
Press either the point left or right button to obtain better balance of contrast.
Press Save to store the settings, press Reset to restore the previous settings, and press Quit to exit this menu.

Volume
Press the point left button to decrease the volume, press the point right button to increase the volume.
Mute
Set to “On” to mute the sound. To restore the sound to its previous level, set “Off” or press the mute button or the volume +/- button on the remote.
Blue Background
When this feature is “On”, the proctor produces a blue image when the input source is unplugged or turned off.
Display
This feature allows you to turn the on-screen displays on and off.
Select “On1” to show all displays, select “On2” to show all displays except the Preparation screen, select “Off” to turn off all displays.
Ceiling
When you turn Ceiling on, the projector turns the image upside down for ceiling-mounted projection.
Rear
When you turn Rear on, the projector reverses the image so you can project from behind a translucent screen.
Power Management
This feature preserves lamp life by automatically turning the lamp off after no signal has been detected for five minutes.
1 When the input signal is interrupted, the message “No signal” appears with a counter that starts at 5 and counts down to 0.
2 After the counter reaches 0, the lamp is turned off, the Ready indicator turns off, and the fans run for 90 seconds. During this cool down time, the lamp cannot be turned on.
3 After 90 seconds, the Ready indicator blinks and the lamp can be turned back on.
The lamp is automatically turned on when the input signal is re-connected or any button on the remote or keypad is pressed.
Lamp Age
This allows you to reset the lamp monitor replacement timer. See
NOTE: The Power Management feature is On by default.

This section describes how to:
• clean the lens
• clean the air filter
• replace the projection lamp
• replace the batteries in the remote
• troubleshoot the projector
Cleaning the Lens
Follow these steps to clean the projection lens:
1 Apply a non-abrasive camera lens cleaner to a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid using an excessive amount of cleaner, and don’t apply the cleaner directly to the lens.
• Abrasive cleaners, solvents or other harsh chemicals might scratch the lens.
2 Lightly wipe the cleaning cloth over the lens in a circular motion.
3 If you don’t intend to use the projector immediately, replace the lens cap.
Cleaning the Fan Intake Filters
The fan intake filters on the bottom of the projector catch dust and particles in the air. If the filters become clogged, the projector does not cool properly and may malfunction. To prevent this, clean the filters after every 100 hours of use.
1 Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord.
2 Turn the projector upside down and remove the two filters by pulling the latches up.

WARNING: To avoid burns, allow the projector to cool for at least 45 minutes before you open the lamp module door. Never extract the lamp module while the projector is operating.

Replacing the Projection Lamp
The Lamp Replacement indicator lights yellow when the lamp needs to be replaced. You can order new lamp modules from
your InFocus dealer. See “Accessories” on page 44 for informa-
tion.
Follow these steps to replace the projection lamp:
1 Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord.
2 Wait 45 minutes to allow the projector to cool thoroughly.
3 Invert the projector on a soft flat surface, then remove the screw on the lamp cover and lift the cover off.

WARNING: Be extremely careful when removing the lamp module.
In the unlikely event that the bulb ruptures, small glass fragments may be generated. The lamp module is designed to contain these fragments, but use caution when removing the lamp module.

4 Remove the two screws on the outside of the module, then
grasp the handle and pull the module out (Figure 17). Dispose
of the lamp module in an environmentally proper manner.
CAUTION: Never operate the projector with the lamp door open or removed. This disrupts the air flow and causes the projector to overheat.

WARNING: Do not drop the lamp module or touch the glass bulb! The glass may shatter and cause injury.
5 Install the new lamp module.
6 Tighten the screws on the outside of the module.
7 Replace the lamp door and the screw.
8 Plug in the power cord and press the power button to turn the projector back on.
9 To reset the lamp replacement monitor timer, press the menu button, select the Setting menu, then navigate to the Lamp
Age option. Press the select button, and the message “Lamp replace monitor reset” appears. Select Yes to reset the timer.

Replacing the Batteries in the Remote Control
The life of the batteries depends on how often and how long you use the remote. Symptoms of low battery charge include erratic responses when using the remote and a reduced range of operation.
Follow these steps to replace the batteries:
1 Turn the remote face down in your hand.
2 Slide the battery cover off the end of the remote.
3 Remove the old batteries and dispose of them in an environmentally proper manner.
4 Install two new AA alkaline batteries. Make sure you install each in the correct direction.
5 Slide the battery cover back on the remote.

Troubleshooting
Problem: The projector is not running
• Make sure that the power cord is properly connected to a fully functional AC electrical outlet. Make sure that the power cord is also properly connected to the projector.
• If the projector is plugged into a power strip, make sure the power strip is turned on.
• Make sure the projector is turned on.
Problem: Projector is running, but nothing appears on projection screen
• Make sure you have removed the lens cap on the projection lens at the front of the projector.
• Check the projector’s lamp to ensure that it is securely connected in the lamp module. Make sure the lamp cover is
installed. See “Replacing the Projection Lamp” on page 36.
Problem: Only the start-up screen displays
•
Verify that the cables are connected correctly. See page 7 and
page 8 for connection procedures.
• Make sure that the cables do not have any bent pins.
•
Verify that the proper input source is connected. See “Source
(keypad only) or Computer and Video (remote only)” on page 16.
• You might need to turn everything off and power up the equipment again in the proper order. Refer to your computer’s documentation to determine the correct order.
• Make sure your laptop’s external video port is turned on. See
the “Portable and Laptop Activation Chart” on page 46 or
your computer’s manual for details.
• Make sure your computer’s video board is installed and configured correctly.
• Make sure your computer has a compatible video board. The projector isn’t CGA or EGA compatible.

If you’re using Windows 98:
1 Open “My Computer” icon, the Control Panel folder and then the Display icon.
2 Click the Settings tab.
3 Verify that the Desktop area is set to 1280x1024 or less.
Problem: Color or text not being projected
• You might need to adjust the brightness up or down until the
text is visible. Refer to “Brightness” on page 22 for more infor-
mation.
Problem: The screen resolution is not right
• Make sure the computer’s video card is set for a resolution of no greater than 1280x1024.
Problem: Image isn’t centered on the screen
• Move the projector to reposition the image.
•
Reposition the image using the menu. Refer to “H Position/V
• Be sure the projector is at a 90 degree angle to the screen.
Problem: Image is too wide or narrow for screen
• Adjust the zoom or projector placement.
• Adjust the resolution of your video card if it’s greater than
1280x1024.
Problem: Image is out of focus
• Turn the projection lens to focus the image.
• Make sure the projection screen is at least 4.6 feet (1.8 m) from the projector.
• Check the projection lens to see if it needs cleaning.
Problem: Image and menus are reversed left to right
• Rear projection mode is probably turned on. Turn Rear off in the Screen menu. The image should immediately return to for-
ward projection. See “Rear” on page 33.

Problem: the projector displays vertical lines, “bleeding” or spots
•
Adjust the brightness. See “Brightness” on page 22.
• Check the projection lens to see if it needs cleaning.
Problem: no sound
• Adjust volume.
• Verify audio/input connections.
• Adjust audio source.
Problem: Image is “noisy” or streaked
Try these steps in this order.
1 Deactivate the screen saver on your computer.
2 Adjust the synchronization manually to find an optimal set-
ting. See “Fine sync” on page 22.
• The problem could be with your computer’s video card. If possible, connect a different computer.
Problem: Projected colors don’t match the computer or video player’s colors
• Just as there are differences in the displays of different monitors, there are often differences between the computer image and the projected image. Adjust the brightness, tint and/or
contrast from the Display menu. See “Brightness” on page 22,
“Tint” on page 30 and “Contrast” on page 31.
Problem: Lamp seems to be getting dimmer
• The lamp begins to lose brightness when it has been in use for
a long time. Replace the lamp as described in “Replacing the
Problem: Lamp shuts off
• A minor power surge may cause the lamp to shut off. Unplug the projector, wait at least a minute, then plug it back in.
• Make sure the vents are not blocked.

Many laptop computers do not automatically turn on their external video port when a projector is connected. Activation commands for some laptop computers are listed in the following table. Using Video Mirroring with a PowerBook Computer
When you turn video mirroring (called SimulScan in newer PowerBooks—see below) on, the projector displays the same information that appears on your PowerBook’s built-in screen. When video mirroring is off, the projector acts like a separate display.
To turn on video mirroring for the first time:
1 Open the Monitors control panel; click on Monitor 2.
2 Set the number of colors you want.
3 Open the Control Strip, then click on the monitor icon.
4 Select “Turn Video Mirroring On.”
Now you can turn video mirroring on and off from the Control
Strip without having to open the Monitors control panel again.
When using video mirroring and high color graphics such as slide shows, the projected image occasionally might turn black and white. If this happens, perform the following steps:
1 Turn off video mirroring.
2 Open the Monitors control panel.
3 Move the white menu bar to Monitor 2 to set the projector as the primary monitor.
4 Restart the PowerBook.
Using SimulScan
Some newer PowerBooks display images on an external monitor or projector differently than previous ones. When using
SimulScan, the projector displays the same information that appears on your PowerBook
To select SimulScan:
1 Open the Control Panel, then double-click Monitors and
Sound.
2 In the Resolution list, choose the SimulScan mode, then click
OK.
3 If this changes your display settings, a dialog box appears.
Click OK to confirm the change.

LIMITED WARRANTY
InFocus Corporation (“InFocus”) warrants that each LP260 (“the Product”) sold hereunder will conform to and function in accordance with the written specifications of InFocus. Said limited warranty shall apply only to the first person or entity that purchases the Product for personal or business use and not for the purpose of distribution or resale. Said warranty shall continue for a period of two (2) years from the date of such purchase. The standard limited warranty excludes the lamps in projectors after 90 days and the accessories after one year. InFocus does not warrant that the Product will meet the specific requirements of the first person or entity that purchases the Product for personal or business use. InFocus’ liability for the breach of the foregoing limited warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the Product or refund of the purchase price of the Product, at InFocus’ sole option. Replacement Product may be re-furbished in “like-new” condition, at
InFocus’ sole discretion. To exercise the Purchaser’s rights under the foregoing warranty, the Product must be returned at the Purchaser’s sole cost and expense, to InFocus or to any authorized InFocus service center provided, and the Product must be accompanied by a written letter explaining the problem and which includes (i) proof of date of purchase; (ii) the dealer’s name; and (iii) the model and serial number of the Product. When sending your unit in for repair, please ship your unit in its original packing material or an InFocus approved ATA Shipping Case, or have a professional packaging company pack the unit. Please insure your shipment for its full value. A return authorization number, issued by the InFocus customer service department, must also be clearly displayed on the outside of the shipping carton containing the Product.
Note: Remanufactured Products are exempt from the foregoing Limited Warranty. Please refer to the Remanufactured
Product Warranty for applicable warranty information.
WARRANTY LIMITATION AND EXCLUSION
InFocus shall have no further obligation under the foregoing limited warranty if the Product has been damaged due to abuse, misuse, neglect, accident, unusual physical or electrical stress, unauthorized modifications, tampering, alterations, or service other than by InFocus or its authorized agents, causes other than from ordinary use or failure to properly use the
Product in the application for which said Product is intended.

THE WARRANTY PRINTED ABOVE IS THE ONLY WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO THIS PURCHASE. ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MER-
CHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE DISCLAIMED. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
IT IS UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED THAT INFOCUS’ LIABILITY WHETHER IN CONTRACT, IN TORT, UNDER ANY
WARRANTY, IN NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE RETURN OF THE AMOUNT OF THE
PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY PURCHASER AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL INFOCUS BE LIABLE FOR
SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUES OR
LOST SAVINGS. THE PRICE STATED FOR THE PRODUCT IS A CONSIDERATION IN LIMITING INFOCUS’ LIABILITY.
NO ACTION, REGARDLESS OF FORM, ARISING OUT OF THE AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE THE PRODUCT MAY BE
