This dual filter mechanism is uniquely designed to have a blue filter in daytime
for a precise color reproduction and to have an IR focus corrective filter at
nighttime so that there is no focus shift when the IR lights are activated.
B. Highly enhanced resolution of 560TVL(Day) & 600TVL(Night)
!"
#$ ! "
The VDA110HQ ideally combines a precise full glassed
optics and newly developed professional DSP chip with Sony
Super HAD CCD image sensor to deliver ultra clear image of
500TVL in daytime color. The image is automatically
converted from Color to black & white at 5 lux darkness to
make the image quality extremely clear and to enhance the
resolution up to 540TVL at night.
C. The Maximum sensitivity with the best sensor and the latest techology
Used with the latest high sensitive sensor the
VDA110HQ provides the highest performance in low
light at 0.2 Lux/F1.3 (Super HAD)/0.1Lux (Ex-view
HAD). In addition the built-in true Day/Night function
completely removes the color signal noises for an ultra
clear night time image quality.
D. Wide range of Automatic White Balance (1,800˚ K~ 10,500˚K)
The VDA110HQ’s Automatic White Balance provides
an extensive range of color temperature control that
covers from 1,800’K to 10,500’K, generating a natural
color image without being red or blue in varying light
conditions.
E. Intelligent image compensation against IR saturation
VDA110HQ
Can you recognize the picture when the object
is getting closer to a strong IR illumination?
A new image processing technology is adapted to
eliminate the ‘WHITE OUT’ problem. Now the
picture is automatically processed so that the
camera can observe recognizable objects instead
of seeing all white saturation.
F. Greatly improved Day & Night response
Does the picture converts itself between color and b/w at the right time exactly and is the IR
illumination on and off at the same time as well?
A new technology of Day and Night control is added to this device. An accurate control of image conversion
and a precise operation of day & night filter movement at the right moment, gives a reliable image capturing
capability in Color mode at daytime and in B/W mode at nighttime.

1) Auto IRIS (DC iris lens) control
This is an automatic function that optimizes the amount of light reaching to a CCD by driving
the lens that has a mechanical shutter speed control built-in. Default light level is adjustable by
turning the DC-Iris volume left or right direction by using a screw driver.
2) Extra Fuse for surge power interruption protection
The camera incorporates highly reliable surge absorptive circuit so as to protect the camera
from an excessive voltage input. In addition, it has an extra interchangeable fuse at the
entrance of the power circuit to cut off any voltage shock before the power gets into the
camera’s power circuit.
- Extra Fuse is included in the package.
-
Please check the fuse first when there is no
power/video from the camera.
(
- When the fuse is cut off, check if power and
ground of the cable or terminal be shorted out.
-
Replace the fuse.
-
Replace the power supply within the specification,
when the fuse goes out repeatedly,
How to check the Fuse
1.
Check the fuse with Multi meter.
2.
Fuse is OK when ) 0 *,+ is detected.
3.
(
(
Fuse is N.G when ) M *,+ is detected.
Fuse specification and vendor: 250V/1A, Bussmann
Fuse length of life
1.
The fuse works forever when the power input is correctly supplied.
2.
Fuse will be cut off only when there is a short or over voltage input during the
installation. But when the image goes dead after the installation, it means that the
fuse is OK but the camera is defected. Replace the camera in this case.
3.
How to purchase the fuse : It is a standard and widely available in general electronic
shopping center. Please refer the defected fuse to the electronic shop for the same
specification.

BLC (Back light compensation)
When the camera faces directly toward bright light entering place like window, door or bright
background, electronic iris function makes a negative effect by making the object become too
dark resulting in the object unrecognizable. This camera offers a BLC on/off function to get the
clear object on this light condition.
AGC (Automatic Gain Control)
AGC off mode offers a noiseless picture at low light condition. Put the switch ON (AGC ON) in
order to get a brighter view at dark situation.
Auto White Balance (ATW/PUSH)
White balance control is selectable to Push lock mode or ATW mode according to the
environment. ATW mode is recommendable when the background is one colored such as all
green. Normal camera makes green to white while ATW mode tracing it as a true green. Push
lock mode is recommendable when the camera is installed under indoor fluorescent light
environment. It prevents the picture changing between blue and red affected by the fluorescent
light.
* Color temperature range: ATW < 2100˚K ~ 9100 ˚K >
PUSH < 2100˚K ~ 10000 ˚K >
* Factory set-up is Push lock mode
CAUTION
Please note that following errors can happen at ATW mode
- The object in from of the camera is big with one color or when there is no white color
around the object.
- When the camera is used under a special lighting like sodium.

Gamma
Gamma is used to compensate the signal distortion at CRT monitor.
Gamma ON is standard set up for CRT monitor (r=0.45). Gamma OFF is r=1.
- Factory set up is ‘ON’
F.L (Flickerless)
F.L on is used when the picture is shaking under the fluorescent light affected by difference
between the display system(60Hz) and AC power signal(50Hz) only.

Installation and services should only be carried out by an authorized personnel according to
local safety regulations.
Should liquid or solid matter gets into the housing, disconnect the camera immediately from
the power source and have it checked by your authorized dealer before reusing it.
Keep an adequate distance from direct heat sources.
Avoid installing the camera at a place of high humidity.
Avoid installing the camera at a place exposed to gas or oil.
Keep the top glass of the lens always clear in order to obtain the best picture quality all the
time. Be careful not to stain the lens and the outer glass by fingerprints.
Do not point the camera toward artificial lightings, the sun, the sky or to the direction of a
window. The best picture quality will be achieved if both camera and lighting point to the
area you want to record.
Do not expose the camera to radioactivity. It causes a serious damage on the CCD.
Do not put objects inside the unit. Make sure that no metal objects or flammable substances
get into the camera. It could cause fire, short-circuits or damages.
Install away from electric or magnetic fields.

Please check if the camera is exposed directly toward a
bright light, sunlight, or sun light reflecting area.
Please move the camera’s position in this case.
The screen is dark.
Please check and adjust contrast feature of the monitor
If there is any interim equipment, set the 75 position
properly and check the terminals.
Please check if the power supply is within the
specification.
- When the cable connection requires a long distance,
there may need a higher power supply or an additional
power/video amplification.
The camera’s surface is too
hot and black stripes
appear on the screen.
Please check if the power supply is regulated and is
within the standard requirement of the product.
The screen is flickering.
Please check if the camera is facing directly toward
sunlight or fluorescent light.
IR beam is weak
Check if the distance of the cable installation is too long
or if the cable is not UL standard. Using a lower grade
cable or long distance cable installation can cause a
serious voltage drop. Please check the voltage output
level of the cable and change the power source in this
case. Make a special care not to supply too much
power over the camera as well.
