Installation
1 Preparing the light for installation
o Remove two screws (DD) on the back of the fixture for
access to the wiring compartment.

o Determine the electrical feed location.
o Remove a knockout from either the back plate or side
of the fixture housing. The fixture has 4 to 6 knockouts
depending on length of your fixture. This drawing shows
the 18 in. model and is for reference only.

3 Connecting the wires
o Install the die-cast connector (AA) and tighten securely.
Locate the black wire (L), white wire (N), and ground wires
and connect them to the supply wires using wire connectors
(CC). Make sure the wire connections are secured.
NOTE: Before you connect the wires, make sure the ON/
A OFF switch on the surface is OFF or it may cause potential
risk if the switch is ON.
4 Re-attaching the back cover
o Re-attach the back cover of the wiring compartment with
the two previously-removed screws (DD).
NOTE: Ensure the wires are covered properly inside the
fixture.
5 Mounting the light fixture
NOTE: The fixture mounting screws are suitable for
A cabinet bottoms 3/8 in. or thicker. Use shorter screws for
thinner cabinet bottoms.
o Attach the light to the desired surface using the fixture
mounting screws (BB). Tighten the screws securely.
o Restore power to the electrical circuit at the service panel.
o Turn on the switch to light the fixture.
NOTE: These fixtures are dimmable and compatible
with these dimmers sold at The Home Depot.
o Make sure the lights are in a single loop and a
single pole with the dimmers, and that the total
wattage of the lights does not exceed the dimmer
wattage capacity. Please refer to wattage capacity
on the dimmer packaging.
